Now you guys can follow me on twitter, where I'm SomeSayWise.
You know, some people say that people with ADHD shouldn't get twitter accounts, because there should be at least some time delay or filter in-between thoughts entering your head and getting published to the internets, but I say - omg, look there's a hummingbird right outside my window! Hi, Mr. Hummingbird! Look, his wings are the same colour as my eyes! You're so pretty! lol, he's all looking at me through the window, like, 'Hey, you! Where's the sugar-water I specifically told you to put out here? When I see stylized plastic flowers, I expect sugar water! And give me the red stuff, none of that "no food-colouring" business!' lolz This past week at family camp my step 1st cousins once removed were outside in the Oregon countryside, enjoying the nature and stuff, when there was this HUGE woodpecker! I mean he was huge! And apparently he thought he owned these five trees clustered together in the backyard, 'cause when the kids got close to them, he starts squawking all loud, trying to scare the kids off, like, 'Hey! You! See these five trees? These five trees are mine! All five of them! Don't even think about coming near my trees!' And there was this cute little robin bouncing around nearby, and he tweeted like, 'Listen to him! He's crazy! You don't want to mess with that guy!' And the woodpecker was like, 'Yeah, you don't want to mess with me! I whack my head into pine trees repeatedly as a vocation!' So the kids got kind of freaked out by this huge, loud bird, so they start walking to the other end of the backyard. Well, there's a tree there, too. SO the woodpecker swoops across and beats them there, landing on the side of that tree like he thought they were going for it, and squawks again, like, 'This one's mine, too! All these trees are mine! In fact, every tree in the state of Oregon is mine!' So we told the kids to come on inside.
Why were we talking about birds? Oh, yeah. I'm on twitter.
