Well, it's been quite a while! I'm looking forward to trying to get back into Gaia again, so we'll see how long this lasts.
I graduated from uni and now I'm working full-time (hardly workin' amirite?) so I have time for my own art, if I can get back into the habit of drawing in my spare time. Lately I've been sleeping and cleaning my grandmother's house.
That's a new thing too! I moved in with my Gma last year and I've been in the ongoing process of cleaning her house. I need to A: finish unpacking all my stuff and B: make room for all my stuff! She's elderly, as you would guess, and she's never been one to keep up with the house, so you can imagine it's quite messy after 15 years of minimal cleaning! I'm moving room-to-room though, I haven't finished anything, but it's still moving along. Also, she's in a nursing home right now recovering from a series of mini-strokes! So I'm busy cleaning and visiting her so when she comes home she'll be in a stress free, clean environment.
It's a lot of work for one person. So in the meantime, I'm thinking of doing headsketches, maybe open up to more elaborate avi art once I get used to it. I would love to have something to do besides clean some times!
So that's the jist of my life right now. Barring a turn for the worse from Gma, everything should go according to plan. If she does end up staying in the care facility, I HAVE TO MOVE! lol So you may not see me for a while since I'll be very busy packing and trying to find a place to live.
But that's worst case scenario.
