Ahh yes, the lovely topic that every Anime/Manga has: Pairings. heart Some pairings have a possibility of happening, and others will more likely never happen. Whatever the case may be, they are nonetheless a pairing.
In Naruto Shippuden (both anime and manga), you most likely have heard of the following pairings:
NaruSaku
NaruHina
SasuSaku
ShikaTema
SaiIno
ShikaIno
Now, a lot of people starts arguing about which pairing will happen and/or which pairing is better. For example: The NaruSaku fans will say that NaruSaku will happen because Naruto loves Sakura and that Sakura is slowing deveolping and realizing her feelings for Naruto. On the other hand, NaruHina fans will say that NaruHina will happen because Naruto will slowly start to realize that his crush on Sakura was nothing serious and that he will move on to Hinata. The possibilities of either happening is very high, especially with what's been happening in the manga lately. exclaim BUT exclaim that does not mean that either will happen.
So with that said, have anyone really ever considered and dwell on the possibility that there will be no pairings in the show?
Now don't get me wrong, I hope that Naruto and everyone else(that deserves it) get paired up with someone (personally, I want NaruHina and ShikaTema to happen more than anything.) But lately i've been thinking about if there's even going to be a pairing in the show. Not only that, but i'm actually starting to find/notice some evidence to make me believe that there won't be any pairings. Here's the evidence that's making me think that there won't be any pairings happening.:
Evidence #1: Team Kakashi Hatake=Team Hiruzen Sarutobi?
Alright, this is the main evidence that makes me believe that there won't be a pairing. If your a good Naruto fan, it is a common fact that Team 7 (Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke) is like and base off of the first Team 7 (Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru.) If you noticed, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are suely following in there master's shadows. Sasuke wants all the power he can get to destroy Konoha, Sakura basically had surpass Tsunade in medicine (and i think strength too) and Naruto is becoming a true toad sage. If we were to determine what pairings will happen base on this, there won't be none (or at least for Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke there won't).
I mean think about. If this is the case, then Sakura will probably run off like Tsunade (for whatever reasons) which will more likely eliminate NaruSaku of happening, depending on her reasonings. Sasuke will more likely kill someone from Konoha 11 ( Like Kakashi), and Naruto will probably start regretting and berating himself for not killing Sasuke when he had the chance.
So really, there won't be no pairings (or atleast for Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke) that will happen based off this logic. stare
Evidence #2: To Please Everybody.
Let's say that by the end of the manga/series, Naruto becomes the Hokage, but he, nor is everyone else, isn't paired up with anyone. I have thought of this happening because Kishimoto can easily do this to please the fans without having a handful of them get too disappointed or angry at the end of the series. Not only that, but in a interview, Kishimotot himself said that he's not pairing anyone up any time soon (which doesn't help me in this case at all) in a shonen jump intereview i believe (i can't exactly remember what interview he said this on.)? Soo.....yeah.
Well, that was my evidence and reasonings of why i think no pairings will happen. (though i pray that at least NaruHina and ShikaTema will happen.lol.) sweatdrop
