NEW YEAR'S EVE?
Tonight is New year's Eve, and there is a glass "bubble" thrown over my head! I do not know for certain who put it there, but there it is all the same, and it is very bothersome! Well, at least it will protect me from fireworks sparks.

Hoping you have a very cheese_whine happy new year, cheese_whine and may all your wishes and resolutiuons come true - and don't forget to get your daruma ready.

So why does he only have one eye? That's because on New Year's Day you make a wish and fill in one eye. If your wish comes true, you can fill in the other. My wish is secret, but if it comes true I will fill in the second eye.

Daruma is the Japanese word for "Dharma", and comes from the name "Bodhidharma", who was the founder of Zen Buddism, just in case you wanted to know!

A LITTLE BIRD TOLD ME...

A dear little friend of mine has come from the Real World to the Gaian world to live with me forever. My sweet little yellow lovebird, Sunny, recently died in the real world, but I found him again in one of the Gaian shops. I asked him, "Would you please come back to live with me in Titipu? I've missed you so terribly much." And he looked at me with his little black eyes and said, "How could i ever leave you?" And so here he is, with me again.

P.S. To celebrate the New year, I also went and had my hair changed! Hope you like it, because it will stay this way for a long time.

TWO DAYS AFTER CHRISTMAS - 2006

Christmas in Titipu is very beautiful because it always snows, and there are always Christmas lights to see. I have a beautiful tree which is placed where everyone can see it. There is some carolling outside, and people are exchanging gifts. I was given a candle-making set, and four very nice books, as well as some chocolates and a very tasty trail mix called Mistletoe Mix. Just as he does every year, fat old Pooh-Bah was enticed (bribed) to play Santa Claus for the children of Titipu, but he doesn't like doing it.

THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING, 2006

I should have started this blog some time ago! As you can see, I have a new little alien friend who only says "Bleep", so that's what i call him. I am trying to teach him to speak English (what? Not Japanese?) Don't forget, the language of Titipu IS English! It is almost time for Christmas, so I will be getting ready for that - maybe by then I will be able to find my uniform.

Have I ever told you much about Titipu? My Website, called Kokos Korner, for obvious reasons, will tell you everything you want to know. The only thing I will add is that my hometown of Titipu is a very strange and silly place, and the names of none of the people living there are their real names. All the real names have been changed to protect the incredibly guilty. Hope you come around often.
