Chapter 3: Training
The room was dark and cold. Yuko has regained all control of her body. She tries opening the door she came through but it was no use it was stuck. Not wanting to stumble around in the darkness she finds the wall, then a light switch contacts her finger, she switches it on, the lights flick on it was a large white room, then a robotic voice clicks on with static.
Robot:”Hello, welcome to Auburn’s Advanced Training Facility, will commence testing procedure after scanning process, please wait momentarily.
A scanner scans Yuko’s whole body from top to bottom, and then finds her barcode.
Robot:”Welcome back Test subject #:84729472 Prepare yourself the test will begin shortly”
Fearfully Yuko takes a step back, then 2 androids with 2 turrets rise out of the ground and load their weapons
Robot: “Test will commence in 3, 2…”
Yuko: “s**t!”
Robot: “1…”
As the androids begin firing their guns Yuko turns and runs to the nearest wall and ducks down and covers her head. With Adrenaline racing through her veins a blue aura begins to swirl around her body. Her aura spreads to some of the bullet shell casings begin to rise up around her.
Yuko: “What the hell?”
Yuko extends her arm out to on of the shell casings and begins to notice it follows her movements.
Yuko (Thinking):“I’m controlling it?!?”
Quickly coming up with an idea she peeks out to one of the androids still trying to kill her. She finds a spot and concentrates on it, then launches one of the shells at it. The bullet shell instantly pierces the androids metallic armor and shoots through the other side destroying the android. The other android sneaks around to the other side of the wall and turns and aims at Yuko and empties the remaining bullets from the clip. Reflexively she turns and puts her hand up in defense forming a blue force field stopping all the bullets except one that which got past before the shield as formed, whizzes by and grazes the side of her face. A drop of blood runs down her cheek and drips to the floor, when something inside of her begins to take over her being. Her heart rate increases, adrenaline pulses through her veins, her pupils turns red with fury and concentrates her full attention on the android still trying to reload its turret. Something in her snapped, she closes her eyes and blows up the android in to unsalvageable heap of metal. Panting heavy her eyes return to their Cerulean blue hue, pulse returns to normal and her blue aura dissipates. Exhausted she gets up and heads to the exit on the other side of the room.
Robot: “Congratulations on passing our final test. Have a pleasant day subject #84729472.”
Yuko: “I have got to get out of this place now.”
