One in a Million
Look around
What do you see?
People
People everywhere
Millions streaming through the streets
Across the country sides
In the cities
Over the oceans
People everywhere
There are billions of them
And you're one of them
Just one in the masses
Just one in among the millions of others
It's so easy to think that you don't matter
When you look up at the night sky
And realize just how big it is
And just how small you are
It's scary to realize that you could die today
And yet the world would go on
People would mourn and your loved ones would cry
But they would eventually move on
And life would keep on going as it always has
It’s scary to realize how little of an impact you would make
And you wonder
Does it really matter?
If I left right now
Life would go on
So does it matter if I'm here today?
But don't give up
'Cause even if though it's so easy to get caught in the current of life
And get swept away
You can't give up
You have to keep moving
You're here for a reason
And even if you can't see it right now
It's there
Maybe it's up in the big night sky
Or maybe it's hidden in the dark waves of the ocean
But, wherever it is,
It's there
So keep on moving
And find that reason
So that you can say
I'm just one in million,
But at least I am one.
