alright.
it was a warm day on may 9th...the clouds were up and it was obvious it was going to be a rainy evening. But that didn't matter. No, because I was going to the most beautiful concert in the world.
SIGUR ROS.
The stage was loaded with expensive equipment and the whole place was thrumming with energy.
I sat down with Jack and it began.
We clutched our new band shirts tightly with excitement because even the opening band was amazing. All from Iceland and all wonderful.
Finally they came on. The lights flared and it was dead silent. Everyon was watching. For a moment no one breathed. It was fantastic.
After the end there was an astounding standing ovation. Cheers, screams, hollers, and whistles were so loud that it hurt but it was just terrific.
It was one of the best nights of my life.
