So far, summer vacation has been alright. The schedule I'm on for visiting with my mom is pretty messed up, since it's two weeks with her and one week with my dad. Being able to talk to my friends online, listening to music, and reading books have successfully been able to keep me from going insane with boredom. I don't know what I'd do without the internet right now...
Anyway, we have to read a book for my English class over the summer called Life of Pi, which is really boring and poorly organized. The plot seems to randomly skip around and leave things out, but certainly not as deftly as a multi-faceted plot would skip around. The language also seems a little too simple for my tastes in a book. Good thing I'm like a month ahead on the reading.
