Personality: Taken away from his sister and family to live in a Foster Home because of his “gift” at the age of 4, Kai has been searching for his former family. He was sent to the Johto region, far from his family as to not ever find them. He lives in one of the major cities in the Jhoto region. A local favorite and hero to many towns, Kai is a brave and very smart, his stubbornness and Independence sometimes gets him into many problems though. When meeting new people, Kai is always kind and generous, like a real “Gentlemen” he helps those who are lost and need directions. Many know this trainer through out the regions of his selfless acts he does for people. When confronted with a problem, he would try to talk it out, but if the person or Pokemon is not persuaded, he will start a fight, verbally or physically (with or without pokemon). When Kai turned 10, he went on his Pokémon journey like any normal kid. His first starter was a Cyndaquil who he called Blaze. Kai has a strange connection with Pokémon; some say that Kai may have Physic powers. He has a strong connection with his Espeon, Luna who he found as an Eevee in a treacherous thunderstorm on the streets. He is a fierce battler, and does not give up. Kai does not like to catch a lot of Pokémon; he likes to use the ones he has and to not forget about them because of their love for each other. He does not care to be the best Pokémon trainer in the world, all he wants is to find his sister. None of his Pokémon are shiny.

History in Kanto: None

History in Jhoto: He does not stay in the Johto region for a long time. He has won at least 4 badges, and has participated in the Poke league once.

History in Hoenn: Stays longer in that area than any other, traveling each town to find his sister. Has won all badges and has participated in the league.

History in Sinnoh: Has almost defeated the Elite 4! This is his last chance! o:

Pokémon Team in Kanto: None

Pokémon Team in Jhoto:

(Blaze the Cyndiquil-Quilava) Kai’s first beginner Pokémon, and one of his best friends. 2nd Pokémon ever gotten. Gender- Male. He has a very hot temper! Blaze is a tough Pokémon, and very obedient. He has never disobeyed an order given to him. He is a bit rough, and gets a bit carried away when in battle. He is very serious and protective of his trainer! When he senses a threat, flames will shoot out of his back. When in company of people and Pokémon he knows, he is as sweet as he could be. He has a strange marking/tattoo of fire on his chest.

(Luna the Espeon) Gender-Female. Kai’s 1st Pokémon, he found her as an Eevee on the streets during a horrible rainstorm. She is one of Kai’s favorites. A Pokémon that never is in her Poke ball. She is always by her masters’ side. She follows him everywhere, just like a loyal Pokémon should. Just as obedient as Blaze, she and Kai have a strong connection with each other’s minds. Being a physic Pokémon, and Kai having a strange gift in understanding Pokémon, they always know what the other is thinking. Very social, she loves to be petted by Kai and be usually the center of attention. At times though, she can be very quiet. She is also very wise, and not stupid as to fall for traps as King does. Has a pendant of a moon around her neck (like a collar)

(King the Pidgey-Pidgeotto) Gender-Male. 3rd to be caught on his journey out of town. His name says it all. He likes to be treated well, and if he does not get what he wants, he will pester you to death until he does. He likes to go by himself, and does not like to be bothered. He is somewhat a bully, and will pick on the other Pokémon at times, especially Blaze. When he evolves later to a Pidgeot, he is not such a bullying jerk. He likes food, so he will steal others and fall into traps with food to get it. Has an ankle band with a gold crown on it.

(Mytice the Dratini-Dragonair) Gender-Female. 4th Pokémon received, he received Mytice as a gift from a trainer that came from the Kanto region he beat, saying she was to “weak” while a Dratini. She is a very reserved Pokémon, and quiet, not liking to socialize with other Pokémon. When approached by anyone, (especially Pokémon) she hides behind her trainer Kai, and rather is with him than anyone else. When danger happens upon her trainer one day involving a Tyranitar, while his other Pokémon were unable to help him, her wanting to save her trainer and battling the beast (almost losing) she evolves into and Dragonair, and saves Kai. Has a gold plated collar on neck.

(Doomsday the Houndoom) Gender-Male A very ill tempered pooch. 5th caught. He is a very violent Pokemon, who has a dislike for people for some reason. More than once he has actually tried to kill Kai, but Luna, Mytice and Blaze were always there to stop him. Kai keeps him because he knows one day, he will learn to like humans. So far, Kai’s plan has not succeeded. He was nicknamed, “The Demon,” after this Pokemon brutally beat up another trainers Pokemon on whim. He is very misunderstood, when small, kids threw rocks at him when he was a Houndour. Being a stray, people in towns treated the poor guy badly, so this is why he hates people. Kai caught him when Doom was attacking a woman who supposedly “accidently kicked” him. He reacts negative to all situations, and will bite the hand that feeds him. He trusts only Luna. Maybe one day he will trust people again and other Pokemon. Has a scar across his face where kid hit him with a rock.

(Lily the Misdreavus) Gender-Female She has a crush on Kai! One day, when Kai was walking past a dark forest, this ghost Pokemon disguised herself as a pretty girl in trouble! Luna knew something was not right, but Kai could not resist helping out the lost beauty called Lily! When she began to flirt with Kai, Luna attacked the girl. Kai was about to scold the Espeon until, Luna flew right through her! From then on, Kai has had this Pokemon Lily stalk him, wherever he goes. She protects her “love” from everything and everyone! She is a flirt, can cry easily, and quite sassy. She is not an official Pokemon of Kai’s, just merely a follower. (Stalker more like!)

King-Pidgeot-Nicer but still quite a bully
Mystice-Not as shy to Pokemon anymore!
Doomsday-Starts to trust Kai more.

(Tropius)-Gender-Male 6th Pokemon caught, he recently caught this guy stirring up some trouble in a town by almost every day, threatening to blow the houses out of the trees with his mighty strong winds he made from his wings. Being the nice guy he was, Kai caught him and saved the town of Fortree city. He is rarely used in battles, because of his stubborn attitude. All this Pokemon wants to do is be free, but with a couple days with Kai, his attitude changes and he becomes a kinder Pokemon. Later on, Kai lets him go when Tropius falls for a wild Meganium.

(Taillor the Taillow-Swellow) 7th Pokemon caught, This Pokemon is just as annoying and stubborn as King! Even though he is small, he likes to pick fights with King, (and larger Pokemon) but the fight always ends up getting separated. Taillor loves to sit on people’s heads; so, he usually always makes a nest out of Kai’s hair. Kai does not mind, but King does. (King was never aloud to do such things, due to his size) Taillor is an early riser, and somehow escapes his Pokeball to wake up his master. Like an alarm clock, he gets really loud and annoying at times when he wakes everyone up at 3 AM!

(Tango the Manetric)- Gender-Male 8th Pokemon caught, he received this hunk from a breeder for reasons still unknown! The Manetric’s name was Tango, and he is a real ladies Pokemon. When in battle, he gives a wink for the girls and gives them a show. Everyone loves him; even human girls swarm at his cuteness and charm! They all wish they could have a Pokemon just like him. This guy hates to loose, and when he does, he will not come out for days, or he would have the girls pamper him. He loves to flirt with Luna, but she is not interested. Always has some type of romantic flower with him to give to the ladies.

(Hogan the Blaziken)- Gender- Male 9th Pokemon caught, he got this Gentlemen when he was lost in a snow storm; luckly, Hogan was there to help. After the snow storm though, Hogan gladly accepted Kai’s offer to travel with him. He does not have a Poke’ball! This Blaziken’s white feathers are all black, and he likes to wear a leather jacket (because of the cold) and goggles. Hogan is a powerhouse Pokemon, and gets along very well with the other Pokemon…especially the girls. His cute charm and kindness to everyone makes everyone want to be his friend. Tango though, envy’s him. When in battle, he will give a little nod or bow, before blowing the competition to oblivion. If he loses, he does the same. He is not the kind of Pokemon to start anything, but he will gladly end it!

Doomsday-Now kind to people flinches though when the human moves or tone of voice changes. He was sent back to Kai’s family as a guard dog and for therapy.
Taillow-Is temporary being held by the Professor in Johto.
Tango-Currently happy at a Pokemon spa for a break while helping Kai win in the Hoenn league.
Lily-Has evolved into Mismagius while she was trying to get Kai’s attention with getting him shiny stones!
Hogan- Same as usual!

(Pachy the Pachirisu)- Gender-Female 10th Pokemon. Was a sudden commitment! When Kai was traveling through another town, a little girl came up to him crying and holding Pachy. She asked Kai if she could watch her Pokemon for her, and he agreed. What he did not know is that the girl wan not going to be coming back! The girl called the Pachirisu Pachy, and she is quite the handful! She always gets into some sort of trouble and was never trained to go in a Poke ball so she is always on Kai’s shoulder. Kai though, knows he can’t resist her cute charm. She is friendly to everyone and to everything, even if the Pokemon wants to eat her! In the end, at the last moment, (or last episode) Kai reunites the girl with her Pokemon by showing up at her house one day, and gives Pachy back to her, who is very grateful.

Crash the Shinx-Luxio-Luxray)-11th Pokemon, name still not official. Gender-Male. Does not know when to quit! He is as stubborn as they get, and loves affection. He is a lovable guy, who will curl up on your lap and fall asleep. Kai, when caught in the middle of a Tsunami, saved the little guy from being swept away in the oceans fierce current. Crash though, does not like water, or getting near it. Fur is really shaggy on head.

Coco the Lopunny) Gender-Female.12th Here comes another Pokemon looking for affection! One day, Kai finds her in one of his poke balls and decided to let her go. When she refuses, he keeps her. She is a major flirt (If she met Tango they would have been good for each other) and likes to fluff and pet Kai’s hair. He finds it quite weird, and uncomfortable at times. Her and Lily always fight over Kai. She is a tough bunny behind her looks and sweet charm. She is also very intelligent. She will beat any Pokemon to a pulp if commanded by her master. One day, Coco overhears a conversation between a breeder and him, saying “He had a Lopunny that would be perfect for the breeder.” Heartbroken, she ran away. Kai goes looking for Coco, and ends up finding her being attacked by a Carnivine trying to eat her! When Kai saves her however, she falls back in love with him again, and continues to groom Kai’s hair to this day, even though he may not like it. She has a heart shaped spot on her left cheek. She has a crush also on Hogan!

Personality: Her parents were the gym leaders in Ginja League! At the age of 8, her and her parents were driving on the outskirts of Lavendar Town, to celebrate their daughter’s birthday. She was turning 8, and was given a gold heart shaped locket with a Poke ball with wings. You press the Poke ball, and it will play a song, that is said to bring forth a spiritual legendary Pokémon. Some type of Pokémon attacked their car, resulting in a crash. She lost her memory of what happened during that time, but all she knew was that her parents were killed in the so-called, “crash.” Months later, a small Absol with markings of a sunburst on its front legs saved her from drowning in the small Magikarp pond in her backyard. 2 years later, at 10, she was given a present of a female Pikachu that she named Spark. She lived in a mansion-sized house, since her parents were quite famous. The servants of the house would not let her leave for a Pokémon journey, because they wanted to protect her from….something. Being rebellious, she tried to runaway from home, but Team Rocket evaded her home and attempted to kidnap her. Ashley escaped, and ran away from the villains so she can have a better life and ended up disappearing for 4 years. Every night after her disappearance, she has a nightmare of a dark monster coming for her. Ashley is a very brave girl and kind of stubborn. Her temper gets her into a lot of trouble. She is rough and cold but she can be very energetic, kind and loving…once in a BLUE MOON! Only few people and Pokémon bring that nice side of her back once in a while, but no one stays long enough to do so. She is a lonely person; her only friends are her Pokémon. She is often quite silent, and has her arms crossed, always looking annoyed at something. When it comes to helping others, she could care less, but she always ends up doing the right thing, no matter how much she hates it. She is sort of a jerk, when she actually does speak; it is usually a negative remark. If pushed, she will get into a fistfight. She used to be a nice person, but when she ran away, people gave her the cold shoulder, making her, well, not so nice! There are people still looking for her, but she usually does not get close to towns, only for supplies, then she is gone. She hates the water, and refuses to go near it. She does not leave the Kanto region, not until she turns 15 for some odd reason. She does like to go off at times for hours, and then come back, on strange trips, which involve her bringing some type of Pokémon back. She likes the rain, and goes out in it often.

Pokémon Team in Kanto:

Absol- (Male) He is very loving of his master, and is always by her side! He is also very protective, letting no one close to her, especially MEN. He has sunburst shapes on his front legs that are red, and no one knows why! What is also strange is how an Absol got into the Kanto region! This Absol is different from others, because he can use physic moves! Such at, throwing people or Pokemon out of his way with his mind. He will not take food from others, unless instructed by his master! When it comes to other Pokemon, he is nice, but always has his mind on other things and sometimes ignores them. This Pokemon saved her life from drowning when she was 8. NEVER IN A POKEBALL!

Spark the Pikachu- (Female) This girl was given to her by Ms. Peterson, a maid who acts aunt like to Ashley. Spark LOVES food! If she sees it, she will go for it, does not matter if it is from a strange or not. She is very sweet and loves to be petted! She loves to play with the other Pokémon also! Her ear tips are different from other Pikachu’s; she also has a fur tuff on her head, with a blue and white striped headband. NEVER IN A POKEBALL!


Jolter the Jolteon- (Male) *She does not get this guy until 1 year in.* One day, Ashley shows up with this strange guy by her side! He has weird stripes that are on his body, green and blue are their colors! He is also loyal to his master, never refusing an order, almost as if he was already been trained to obey. He likes to sleep a lot, and loves to roll in the grass in the sun. He is one powerful Pokémon! *In my story, he actually takes down a Tyranitar!* His eyes turn completely blue when lighting or thunder storms are coming, or before he performs an electrical attack.

Roselite the Persian- (Female) *1 year in she gets her* SNOBBY. That is one of many words to describe this prissy kitty! Roselite is a sly, smart and tricky Pokémon. She is a Pokémon who really does not care about anyone else, she is snotty but can be nice sometimes. On most Persians heads, the gem on their fore heads would be crimson, but instead it’s a shiny emerald color just like her eyes. She usually calls herself “perfect” because she is the top breed in her Species and is bred for show. Her coat is almost pure white unlike others who have rusty yellowish white coats. Ashley named her Roselite and she despises the name because she does not like the trainer. Ashley was given this girl when she went out again on her little “trips.” She hates dog Pokémon with a passion, and will eat smaller Pokémon if given the chance.

Slasher the Sandshrew- (Sandslash) (Male) She catches this guy one day in a cave. There in not much known about him, because she does not bring him out often
