Hide-And-Seek Cat (male)
Adventurer Cat (female)
Handi-Cap Cat (has nerve damage, hard to walk, male)
Momma Cat (Female, duh)

Here we go again, my littermates dragging me outdoors to explore the "unexplored." They love going out through that crack in the door, I wouldn't really care that much, but, of course, they bring me along with them...Me? Oh, I'd rather stay indoors with Handi-Cap, instead of the blistering sun out there. But today was even worse than usual, considering we were nearly run over by some giant metal monster! I mean really, why let such a dangerous thing out like that? Someone could get hurt! Oh don't worry, no one REALLY got hurt, for the metal monsters seem to be afraid to leave the long rock trail...

Maybe Lappy's suggestion today was a good one...after all, we know there's more than one of those metal monsters...Handi-Cap agreed, trying to convince us that we were not going anywhere without him. Of course, when he tried to prove himself by walking toward the door, he fell flat on his face. I feel sorry for my poor little brother...it can't be easy to see us run off like that, when he himself is unable to come. I guess that's why I decided to agree with him and Lappy, so at least today he could have some company.

At last! The sun! The wind! The birds chirping in the trees! I missed being out here! I have no idea why the others agreed to stay inside, the only one who agreed with ME was Adventurer! Pathetic, don't you think? Oh, sorry to keep my first entry short, but my mom's calling, so see ya!
Hide-And-Seek Cat
October 23, 2007
Yipee! (sorry I just like saying that), anyway, I found the most awesomest of awesome things outside today! It looked like a flat ball of yarn that Lappy loves so much, except much smaller...And it wasn't made of string...Oh well, it had a sort of brownish tinge, and with the picture of a man on on side. It was also cold to the touch, kinda like that metal monster that Mrs. McDegile keeps in her yard. Then came along Hide-And-Seeky, who spotted MY new playtoy, and began to bat it around! Of course, I tried to stop him by biting his tail, but then he tackled me...and we may have rolled off a while...and when he finally gave up and I came back, I couldn't find it...

So...very...bored...What am I to do? I'm locked up in some stupid room, where the only light seen is coming from that crack in the door! The others have already run off to explore what I can't, and even though I tried, I just couldn't make it to the door. My legs stick up and I have to rock back and forth on them, and I just can't stop shaking! Ugh! I hate this, I hate this room, I hate this house, I hate this stinking food, I ha-hey, they're coming back! Bye-bye for now!

Aww, my children are so adorable...I hope they will go with great families...I know I'll miss them, but I'm sure Mrs. McDegile can't keep them here forever. And plus, I've already accepted the fact that the old lady has been talking about them going away on that strange contraption plugged into the wall...
Momma Cat
October 26, 2007
Well, today was pretty ordinary, with my littermates trying to drag me out there again...But something else made this day pretty strange, another of those metal monsters came by, and it went to sleep right in the yard! I thought Mrs. McDegile was going to chase it away, like she does when stray animals show up, but she just let it sleep...Two people came out of the monster, one big human and one small, and both had hair going down to their shoulders. And, what was that?,a small furball that liked to bark? Trust me, it was so annoying!

Lappy was right, there is something wrong here, those people and that furball stayed the night! The little human isn't so bad, for she even brought toys ^^. Lappy seems to love those little feathery things, and so does Adventurer. Once today, Lappy even tried to steal one! It was a little orange mouse at the end of a long string, which the other end was attached to some kind of stick. Once she was out of the room, the human gave a little tug to the stick, and the mouse came flying back! Amazing, don't you think!?

I don't like this one bit. These humans are just too...too...I don't know how to describe it. Adventurer agrees with me, though everyone else thinks we're crazy. I mostly just stay outside with her, avoiding that little human's crushing hug.....Though, I have to admit...that little mouse toy thingy mebobber is a bit entertaining...
Hide-and-Seek Cat
October 29, 2007
....No one believed me....not one bit....Well, maybe Hide-and-Seeky, but that was only about how strange it was! I say these people are just plain bad! I've been staying out of reach...trying to find out what they're really after....And well, I think I found my proof at last, though I sometimes wish I didn't....Remember those strange metal boxes that Mrs. McDegile stuffed us in once to go to the vet? I spotted one in that metal monster...yes, I know, dangerous, but hey, someone's gotta do it. I'm currently trying to convince everyone else, but of course, them being so boneheaded, they won't listen! They'll pay soon...

Nooooooo!!!!! This just can't be happening!!!!! The humans...they brought in that metal box Adventurer was blabbing about!!! I tried to stop them!! I really did!! But when I had finally reached them they just picked me up and put me back in the kitchen!!! Mother was just as determined to save her!!! Trying to actually talk to the humans!! Oh no....oh no....not her...not her....she was the only one that understood me....please....not Lappy.......

I-I can't believe this....she's really gone....I knew this day would come...but not this quickly!!! The humans have left, along with...with...with Lappy....

Momma....Hidey....Handi-Cap....Adventurer....Semi....I miss you guys. The humans are kind, I'll admit, they even let me out of the metal box...But it's nothing like being with all of you....I've been looking out the hole in the monster, which strangely doesn't let air in, wondering how you guys are doing. The young human has let me sleep on her stomach, petting me the entire time and calling me something. I'm not sure what the name means, but it goes something like this: "Key-Key".
Lap Cat. Or "Key-Key"?
November 2, 2007
The mood around the house is awful. Everyone is so depressed about what happened to Lappy....I miss her, always, but Momma seems to be taking the worst of it. Adventurer's been trying to cheer everyone up, saying that she "is probably having the most awesome adventure right now!", but no one pays her any attention. Lappy didn't care for adventures, anyway...
Semi-Social Cat
November 3, 2007
I can't stand this. It's not the same without Lappy....In fact, the only good thing around here is what's happening to Handi-Cap. He's getting better, if that's what you're wondering. Standing without falling or shaking, walking all the way to the door with less-stiff legs. Momma's proud of him, though she still has a sort of pain behind her eyes from Lappy's abduction. Handi's getting a bit cocky....I'm beginning to worry for him.
Hide-And-Seek Cat
November 4, 2007
I could not believe my ears when he asked me. I could not believe that Handi would come outside with me, and was actually able to make it to the door. Of course, I said yes, but I'm starting to regret it now. He's as cocky as ever, running as fast as he can to "prove it". He may just still be stunned about Lappy, but the rest of us seem to be recovering. What's gotten into you, Handi?
Adventurer Cat
November 5, 2007
Ha! I told them I would be coming out here someday. I told them I would be like them someday! I told them this "stiffness" would NOT hold me back!!! Amazing, really. The outside is so cool! I would never have believed it before, only hearing from the others! I've only been so far as the flowerbed, but that record is now broken today! The others were wary of going past there, and they told me that even they have not gone past there. Ha! How perfect for me, the one they kept leaving behind to go past there first! How perfect that I'd be the first to go into this plentiful forest! How perfect!
Handi-Cap Cat
November 6, 2007
This is horrible...And by the way Mrs. McDegile is acting, it means that this was not something she expected. I'm so worried...And the other kits have been looking all over.....Oh where have you gone, Handi-Cap?
