One word.
FUN!!!
This year, I dressed up in my business suit and made a scythe to go along with it. Now that i think about it, I should've worn the maid's dress. The scythe was finished a few minutes before we drove to fanime, so eveyone could smell the spray paint. I swear I lost half of my brain cells by the end of the day. Not only that, but people kept walking into my scythe, and there were several times when I nearly knocked something over just because I turned around. sweatdrop
So this year they didn't have the cool schedule booklets. I talked with one of the people there, and apparantly they ordered them a few weeks before, but the order never came in.
After walking around a bit, K-chan and I decided to DDR. The aracade type is very diferent from the home system. I had to step exactly on the arrows or else the metal barrier would prevent my feet from making contact. At home, I can just step in the arrow's general direction and it will still work. Anyways, we got wiped out on our third song, Drop the Bomb on heavy mode. Darn it. sad
We sat down and pigged out on the food we brought, took some pictures and waited for the dealer's room to open.
The prices on merchandise have really risen. The hoodies are like $40 now, and last year I could still find some for $25. Backpacks and figurines are still in an acceptable price range, but the cellphone keychains are just outrageous. Last year, there were bunches of metal character tags that went for $6 and under. Now you can barely find one that's lower than $10.
As for the gaia booth, I liked it better last year. They were more personal, and you could actually stop and chat with the admins. This year was just nonstop gameshow. sweatdrop
I didn't go to any panels this year, but we did watch My Wife is a Gangster 3. Pretty funny stuff. There was a maid cafe, and the serving girls were just so pretty in their dresses. Unfortunatly, we weren't allowed to take pictures unless we went and bought something.
Alex and Demi didn't look way too crazy in their Big Bang getup. But when they first got to my house, I thought they were heroine addicts. xd
Bought bunches of stuff. And I spent way more on other people than myself this year. Again. I need to stop being so considerate. evil
The masquerade was awesome. Wonderfully done skits and craftmanship. Mannie and I couldn't stop screaming with the crowd.
So next year, my tribe as agreed to cosplay together. I sure hope they don't chicken out , it's going to be our last con together. crying
So...picture time!
Zollo from One Piece, Urahara from Bleach and some random maid in the background.
Looks like Rozen Maiden and Deathnote...I'm not too sure.
Twice the pretty! Sesshoumarus and Inuyashas.
I got Jean one of these kill Jean voodoo babies for her birthday. xd
Host club cosplayers. It looks like Tamaki, Haruhi, Kyoya, Hunny, and Renee.
Nick from Japanime as a....I'm not quite sure what...
Jan, the activity director for Japanime in some Final Fantasy battle costume. Yuna's maybe?
I wonder how much Gaia spent on the booth?
Hottest guy in the con! Kakashi! This guy was smooth, I bought a xxxholic bag from him, and he was all ' we also have a poster for this...' whee
Rinrin and Cloud from Bleach.
Kingdom hearts.
Byakuya and Hanataro from Bleach?
A big group of cosplayers.
The guy dressed up as a Wii. At first I thought he was a mailbox because he was walking in front of me. XD He had to scrunch up inside the box and raise the cross part that was cut out for his face. blaugh
I have no idea who these people are...
Cute lolita wearing kids! 4laugh
D`Grey Man cosplayers.
Roxas? I don't play the game...

Okay, Princess Tomoyo is sorta darkened, bad angle. But that's not the point! Look who's in the background!
And now, my cosplay weapon, Setsuna!
And I should've posted this ages ago, but here's the X-ray of my foot on the day I broke it. rolleyes
