I lead InuYasha and Kagome down thee stairs and into the living room, where I asked them to stay until they could come down to the basement. I went down to see my parents watching t.v. "o.k., guys,you'll never believe me on this, but....some...people...are here and I want you to meet them. But first...you remember the characters in my InuYasha book, right?" They nodded. "o.k., because...THEY'RE the ones here." Mom and Dad just stared. I could tell that they didn't believe me. "If you don't believe me, see for yourself. O.k., InuYasha ,Kagome, you can come down now." They came down the steps. Mom gasped, and Dad could only stare. "Well, you see....they're gonna teach me how to fight with my powers. And before you say 'no' let me tell you that I'm going through the well with them, weather you like it or not." From behind me, I could hear Kagome whisper to InuYasha "She's pretty assertive, isn't she?" Mom gave us a strange look, got up...and stared petting InuYasha'a ears. (heehee sorry I had to do it!...I think she'd do it too!) "Mom.....stop. They're real." Mom stopped and looked at me. "I think that I'm ready for an explnation." Dad said, looking at InuYasha and Kagome. So I told them the whole story. Kagome said that the well was in the woods, so I wasn't sure if my parents would let me go in there...I suppose that I was wrong. "You can go until sunset. But then you can't go back until exams are over." "O.k." I agreed, seeing as that my parents wouldn't change their minds. "Well, come on then, Jess, lets go!" and with that, InuYasha went out the door, leaving me and Kagome to hurry after him.
