Finally,FINALLY, school let out. I practically ran home. Julia and her friend Sarah were playing in her room, and Sarah's big sister, and one of my best friends, Laura was sitting on the couch. "Hey," she said. "*Pant* Hi *Pant*" I gasped. I know that I REALLY needed that training. "So you're serious about this?" she asked. "Yep," I said. "they'll be here in a minute." Sure enough, InuYasha and Kagome knocked on the bakck door. I let them in, then brought them upstairs. Laura gasped, just like Mom, only I know that she was more excited. "Laura, this is InuYasha and Kagome. Guys, this is my friend, Laura." "Hi!"Kagome said. InuYasha just nodded. Laura stared talking, but it all came out in a rush,like this:
"OhmygoditsreallyyouguysIcan'tbelieveyou'rerealJessI'msorryIdidn'tbelieveyouwowthisissocoolyou'rereallyrealnicetomeetyou!!!"
"Breathe." I commanded, and Laura took a deep breath. "There. Now, Kagome, InuYasha, did you catch any of that?" They nodded. "Good. Well, as you can see, Laura is a huge fan. Thanks for comming. This means a lot to me, and I think that it means a lot to her too." I smiled. "Hey, no problem."Kagome nodded. Laurs walked up to InuYasha...and started petting his ears. I tried not to laugh, but gave up when Kagome stared. "Careful, Laura. Don't get him too mad." Laura smiled and stopped. "Sorry." She said. InuYasha sighed. "Its o.k." he said.
The 4 of us hung out for the rest of the day. We tried getting her through the well, but it didn't work for her. After dinner, InuYasha started bugging me about packing so we could go. "We really need to keep an eye on Naraku...even if we can't get a scent of him." Mom looked at him. "Naraku?" she asked. Kagome nodded. "oh....Jess, before you go fighting him, I think I ought to tell you a little about him first." "Mom, how would you know about him?" I asked. "Sit down." she said. I sat. "Well, Naraku...Naraku was the reason for your Grandma's and Grandpa's death. He posined them, because she refused to join him. Then she, of course had the stroke, and...well you know the rest." "WHAT?" I couldn't believe it. "...really...?" I asked. Mom nodded. "So if Naraku hadn't poisned them, they wouldn't have gotten sick?" "Well, probably not that early in their life. They could've lived MUCH longer." I was seriously dumbfounded. "I'm sorry..."Kagome said. "...Yeah..."InuYasha added. "...well....now I have a reason to fight him. And a Good one at that." I confirmed. "I'm comming with you, no matter what you say." Kagome smiled. "Well, glad to have you." InuYasha nodded. "Welcome to the team!" he said. " Now GO GET PACKED!" he said. "o.k. o.k., I'm going. Laura, wanna help?" "Sure!" So we went upstiars, with Kagome and InuYasha following. When we got to my room, InuYasha didn't enter. He just stared. "Why are we on your wall?" he asked. "'Cause I'm a big fan, and I wanted these posters." I took out a bag from my closet, and began to pack.

"Finally!" InuYasha exclaimed. I smiled. I said goodbye to Mom, Dad, my sister, and Luara. Then I ran with InuYasha and Kagome to the well. "Let's GO!"
