Hooray!! New poem
Well, technically, I wrote this poem, like, last year. But I love it, so I don't care. It's about Roxas from Kingdom Hearts II.
The Key
Memories of places you've never seen
Of people you've never known
Now you must take control of your fears
And face the darkness alone
Static fills your vision
You're surronded by the unknown
The reflection of the person in the mirror
Is not one of your own
"You were never meant to exist,"
Rings inside your head
These visions continue to plague you
As you lay deep in your bed
"It's me," says a stranger
His face rings no bells
But his gaze is that of fire
A flame hotter than hell
They ask if you feel Sora
Whom you have only seen in your dreams
You know that your time is short
You're seeing different scenes
Thirteen figures in black cloaks
All in big white chairs
You see yourself among them
Staring an icy stare
You're you and yet you're not
That's what they always say
Confused, you don't know what to do
As you reach your last day
But don't give up child
Though the darkness holds you close
For you alone are the key
