Anju felt confused. Was he homeless? Living in an old decaying building didn't sound very satisfying. "...Why don't you have any other place to stay?" She asked still leaning against the cold stone walls of the main room. "..It was my responsibility to protect this place..but, I was asleep and it seems that I'm in the wrong world.." He said sounding a little bothered. Shaking her head. "Wrong world?!" She gasped scrambling to her feet. She was standing in a room with a lunatic. "But now I can see why you think I couldn't live in a place like this.." He laughed and paused like he was looking around. It was impossible for her to tell. "So you don't live here?" She asked still very confused but for the most part worried for her safety. This guy was either insane or a jerk just fooling around. "No, but I was called here. I live in another place..in another world actually.." He added and lightning flashed through the room again this time she saw the outline of a trim upper body with a mop of curly hair on top of the figures head. "Why aren't you wearing a shirt?" She asked. "Aren't you cold?" "No, should I be?" Anju huffed finding him frustrating. "Well then lets go.." He said catching hold of her hand. She squealed and jerked away from him. "Go where? Wait I'm not going anywhere with some one I don't know!" Anju snapped. "Don't know? We already know each others names that good enough for now. Now lets go." He said taking her arm again only to have her resist again. "Why do you wan-" she was interrupted when there was a slam on the door. Then Adain jerked her to him. "Lets go!" He said holding her to him with a vice-like grip. She yelled and kicked till she heard an in-human roar irrupt from the door. "Come on! Stop struggling or will be killed!" He yelled using his free arm for something but she couldn't see in the pitch-blackness. Suddenly she was enveloped in a whirlwind of air and light. She was so dizzy that she clung to Adian more than she tried to get loose. Anju closed her eyes tight. She felt like she was being pulled through a mass of thick air. Then she blacked out again. Slowly she regained consciousness and looked around finding herself in a lush feathery bed with a canopy. Her eyes wondered around the grand room as she saw a large dark cherry vanity and a wardrobe that was taller than the doorway. Slowly she removed the blankets and found herself in a long white night gown. Then the door opened showing an old woman with her hair pulled into a tight bun. The strange thing about the woman was her eyes and ears. Her eyes were such a rich hazelnut color they almost looked like a warm red and her ears were pointed. "Dear child you’re finally awake!" She gasped hurrying to her with a cotton robe. Still in shock form the rich room Anju got up as the woman stuffed her arms into the robe and tied it at her waist. Then the woman hurried her to the wardrobe and grabbed a dress. Anju yelped once the lady attempted to dress her. "Hay!" She finally reacted swinging an arm at the woman. "Sorry child but your late for breakfast and should get dressed. " The woman said in a hasty but sweet tone. "I'm not wearing a dress!" She said trying not to be rude but wanted to be honest. "Then what will you wear child?" The woman asked. After much arguing Anju wound up in a burgundy dress with some warm slippers. Though the woman insisted it was the most common dress in the wardrobe it was adorned with gold string going down the sleeves and over the chest and waist. It looked like golden vines were draped over her shoulder and arms. While the woman wasn't looking Anju slipped away exiting the room and down the corridor into another room. There she found a dress that had no gold adornment or anything she a simple brown dress. Though she didn’t like wearing a dress the one she was wearing now was allot better than the one she was wearing before. Slowly Anju crept through the halls and looked out a window and her jaw dropped open. Out from the window was a city enveloped in trees but the buildings were made of stone and didn't seem to have any conflict with the plants at all. "Where..where am I?" she gasped looking around in awe.
