This is a "Shakespearean Ballad" I wrote in class... biggrin

It comes and goes
Forever sorrow everybody knows.
Deep inside my heart of regret
Memories that I will never forget.

Sunrise comes it’s just another day
My sadness for you doesn’t wear away.
Sunset comes, the day is disappearing
Voices heard my words not worth hearing.

I twist and turn in my sleep
Thinking of that I cannot keep.
My heart yearns for you all the time
Not knowing you well enough, it was a crime.

Now I must go on without you here
The pain it’s excruciating, far beyond I can bear
