Retrieval
Marina stirred from her resting state, sensing a presence with her. "Has someone come?" she asked herself. When she sensed nothing else, she returned to resting. "Midnight, where are you?"
Midnight awakened to find himself surrounded by memories belonging to Marina. He reached out to try and touch one, but he faded right through it. "Right, these aren't mine. I can't touch them, nor can I enter them. Marina, where are you," Midnight murmured to himself, closing his eyes and allowing himself to be bombarded by sensations, hoping that one would lead him to where Marina is hiding. When he had almost reached his breaking point, he felt it. It was considerably weaker than everything else, but it was there: the faint energy waves as unique as a fingerfrint that told him exactly where she was. "Found you, finally. I'm coming, Marina. Hold on."
Marina stirred again, hearing a voice in her consciousness that was not hers. "There's someone here," she murmured to herself, beginning to emerge from the protective shell that she was hiding in. She was startled as the sound of her voice, and not her thoughts, echoed back at her. "Midnight," she whispered to herself, allowing a faint spark of hope to reenter her heart. "Midnight!" she called loudly. She could feel him now, sense his energy signature. He was faint, and he was moving slowly, but he was here. ut her joy turned to horror as she began to realize what could happen. "No..... no, this cannot..... Midnight, you must hurry. Otherwise," she whispered to herself, sinking back into the shell, "you'll disappear, and you'll never come back. She had almost gone back in completely when she head it distinctly: One single word, barely audible, but in the voice she recognized and took strength from, "Marina!"

Marina's Journal
I don't have a particular theme here. I'll post when I'm bored or I find something interesting. Read it if you want to, I could care less. It's just a means of putting my words on a screen so that at least I can see them.
