My mind re-flooded with the cool sensation of the other Auron; he had escaped my mind after all.
"Boy, let me ask you a question: Why did you look into the Kyuigetsuboh?" His question had a little anger to it, but he had a right to be.
"My mother told me that I should learn of my past, and the mirror would allow me to do it." It was the truth, but it sounded stupid. The sensation soon took over my body, causing me to move against my own will. I started slashing with pinpoint accuracy, the blade deftly moving in my hands. Finally, the blade was sheathed and I regained my body.
"What the ******** was that?" I asked.
"Simple. Anyone who looks into the Kyuigetsuboh becomes possesed by the soul trapped within. You looked; I possesed. It's as simple as that." His tone of voice angered me to deafening levels, but I kept my cool.
"Are we in your time?"
"Yes, and no. My time, your mind."
"Meaning?"
"We are in my time, but really in your mind, which means when youre like this, the people in your world will see you spaced out, but you will see my world." His words confused me, but oh well.
"Can you take me over?"
"Yes. Once we go back to your world, however, I will not be able to unless you lose conciousness, and even then I still won't. You're pitiful, and a slouch at best. That Orc should have been carved to pieces, yet you only severed it's neck." I was angered, but he was right: My sloppy actions would have gotten me killed.
"How do we go back to my time?"
"Will it so.".............

Chronicles of the Cardinal Blade........
I love music, and writing fantasy. This journal will be excerpts from a recent fantasy novell involving an old japenese samurai.
