I Look in the mirror
this is what I see
this monster thats staring back at me
howling and growling
vicious and evil
this is what I see
but not was she sees
she sees a man
unlike any other man
a man she loves
a man to her like no other
but still yet I stare at this mirror
seeing the same beast
wondering how what she says could be
but it was that of her eyes
so clear and open
yet my eyes
they were blurred and shut
as much as I denied what she sees
but I could not denie her longing for me
I look in the mirror one last time
with her by my side
I see the reflexion in her eyes
I saw a man
the man she sees
it was me
the true me.
