People keep asking me about the "incident" that happened over a month ago between April and myself. For those that know me in real life, you'll know that I'm not one that is easily annoyed. And for me to do something as drastic as saying "I don't ever want to see or talk to you again" is a rare occurance.
I don't know the story that April is telling those back at the high school, so I'm going to put my side out there.
I don't put up with immature users. April went to the MALL after sleeping over at a friend's house. Her mother didn't even have the number of the house she was staying at. I had no way of contacting her, and she didn't even care to contact me until it was after 6. (I had tried to call her house around noon and I just had to wait until she contacted me. I was about to give up hope that she would even call.) The concert was going to start at 8. Do you know what this says to me? That she preferred to go to the mall insead of getting ready for this concert. THAT IS AN INSULT IN MY TERMS. It takes over an hour to get to the sight of the concert if you want to be on time. And the weather was terrible that night, so it would have taken longer to get there.
Do you know the Fun Bridge? ((Name of bridge changed to protect location)) You know, that three mile bridge that goes pretty darn high over the water? There were TORNADO WARNINGS that night, and we have to go over the Fun Bridge. So it wasn't really safe to go anyway.
Not to mention what I had to go through to even be able to go to that stupid concert. I had to BEG my friend to switch shifts at work with me. Do you know where my friend lives? Way down on *omits street name* past *omits* and even *omits*. ((If you are one of the few that live around me, just ask me for the street names. But believe me, it takes a good 30 minutes for my friend to drive to work, which is only two miles from my house.)) And this friend DOESN'T DRIVE. She also has a one year old little girl. Her grandmother is the one that babysits for her and drives her places. Guess where her grandmother was that day? Driving my friend's father to his job. So she wouldn't be able to get a ride to work to even cover my shift. My friend went through hell to get me the afternoon off.
April doesn't care about others and what they have to go through just to make her a** happy. She annoyed the heck out of me. I would get calls from her daily... sometimes many times a day. And after this whole mess happened, she called a good dozen times a day.
I don't need another high school baby crying to me about their problems or what they think is right. I know that I have been called "Momma Cora" by some of my friends, but driving one girl all the way into the city just for one concert, having to pay at the door, pay for water, get a pat-down search, and having black permanent marker in the shape of an "X" on both hands, along with the crazy traffic..... it's just a bit too much. Do you know how much gas costs? It's a good $40 for me to fill up my tank. Driving to the concert and back would use up a good 1/4 of my tank! (So that's another $10 added on to the expense)
So if you REALLY feel like calling me a b***h, go right ahead. But you'd be WAY off. ^^ I feel that I've got the right to be a little bitchy, and I'm going to damn well take it!
That's my side of the story. Don't like it.... *shrugs* It's not like I care.
