why does it feel when you're by my side
that i'm suddenly reminded of better times
back when my trust was easily given
back when i knew that all could be forgiven
though the times are different now,you seem to break through
and despite all my defenses theres nothing i can do
it seems your still trapped in my illusion
but which one of us is really more confusing
One word from your angelic voice
and then it seems like i dont have any choice
my supposed sovereignty is suddenly dropped
you make me go on even when i feel that i cannot
and yet somehow we still hold back
because of all the events in the past
Both incomplete and horribly broken
hoping our hearts locks will be open
yet together we reach towards another day
knowing together nothing can get in the way
so far apart yet near as can be
so blind and yet theres so much that we see
