Chapter 17: Final Battle; Annabeth's Journal Entry

Percy: Last chapter?
Me: mmhm.
Percy: Why?
Me: I'm gonna start a story about a new demigod who finds Camp, and is a child of erm... i'll decide this stuff later, but I promise you this will be the best chapter.

ANNABETH'S POV
August 14, 2008
Finally, the battle is over. You know that prophecy about Percy the last hero to remain? After Kronos was defeated, of course, I was dead, and Percy had begun a quest to save me. When he had visited with Hades, he was succesful, because Hades couldn't stand so many dead. I was released, and Percy and I are trying our best to rebuild civilazaition. I found out one demigod other than us who had survived. Her name was Carmen. She was a hunter of Artemis, the only one to survive the battle, and a daughter of Demeter. We became friends, and we have a new generation of Half-Bloods and Quarter-Bloods. A new life, a new beginning, and a new empire built by the remaining Athenians. It was a beautiful time. I am resigned with Percy in Elysium, and quite happy, actually. I get to spend even more time with Percy, and watch the place we and the gods remade grow.
