Part I
Emily
Waiting. I’ve always hated waiting. Right now I’m waiting for a certain someone to come outside. Your probably wondering why don’t I just go inside and get them. Well they're inside a government building where civilians aren’t aloud. I’ve been waiting for two hours now, I hate waiting. I think that I’ve mentioned that already?
But why am I waiting. The answer is that I’m going to politely ask them to let me inside the building. I’m Emily, and I look about 16. I say look because I’m a lot older then I look, I’ll explain later. The door just opened they've come out. Show time.
“See you all later!" a man yells behind his shoulder as he closes the door behind him and heads for his car. As he tries to unlock his car, I gracefully land on top of his car and sit cross legged. Mythed he stares at me, “Who-who are you!?" he stutters out.
“No one of your concern. Now may I have your key card?” I calmly spoke to him.
"I c-can't give th-that to y-you!” He babbles, why this guy? Simple he’s at the top so his key card will open any door, hopefully.
“I’m going to ask you one more time, can I have your key card?” I asked, yet again.
"I-I can’t d-do that!” He stuttered again. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out an alert system.
"I wouldn’t do that if I was you." I let my legs move to where they hung over the side of the car. In the blink of an eye I jumped over the guy, landed behind him and pushed him against his car. He dropped the alert system and let out a small whimper as I twisted his arm.
I kept twisting till I heard a faint pop. I rammed his head against his car and he passed out. I got his key card and head to the door of the building. Why am I here? Well that isn't so easily answered.
I looked up at the sky, good the sun hasn’t set yet. I quietly walked through the halls, searching for anything good. I read out the name plates next to the doors as I passed.
“Lab 1, 2, 3, genetics lab Dr. Blayce's office..." Blayce...the name made me shiver. “Found it" I whimpered. I quickly entered the room and went over to his computer. Once I got inside it I look around in its data base.
‘Password please' the computer displayed on the screen. I typed in at least four different passwords I could think of. All came up with 'access denied’, apparently I don’t know him as well as I thought. Beeep, beep, beep, beeep, beep, beep. I heard a few rooms down an alarm goes off.
"Damn it!" I cursed. I jumped out of the chair and headed for the door. Once outside the halls were ringing with alarms and shouts. I started running down the hall, I sped up when I heard the shouts grow louder.
The shouts get louder, I start to worry. I turned and open the first door that I see. The room was small and dimly lit. There was another door in the room. Next to the door was a name plate that read hybrid research /experimentation lab. The door needed a key card, god I hoped that mine worked.
Don’t ask me why, but felt like I had to go inside that lab. No real reason just an urge. I walked quietly to the door slid the key card though its slot, the door opened.
The room was about the size as a basket court. Half of the room was filled with computers; the other half was filled with these tubes. They were all filled with this grey and clear swirling liquid. They were about three feet in diameter and seven feet tall. I walked around till I saw the one with someone in it.
He looked about 17 kinds of pale with a well built body. Slightly muscular, wearing only shorts. He was floating in the middle of the tube with his knees tucked up to his chest. His head rested gently on his knees, shaggy hair but pure black. Out of his head were two cat ears the same color. His tail was kind of curled around his feet. On the side of the tube were some numbers.
"008-M36-P9...so is that your name?" I said. I put my hand on the glass. His eyes opened, god they're a perfect midnight blue.

Jirin
Red...that’s the first thing that I saw. It took me a minute to realize what I was seeing. Her hair was red very red, to her shoulders and very curly. Her eyes were a mix match of one silver and the other one caramel brown. She was slender, looked about the same age as me, and about average height. She wore a black coat with silver stitches, a dark red button up shirt, and dark blue pants. I saw her hand pressed against the glass. She looked startled; I wish that I could talk to her.

Emily
He stared at me, and I stared back at him. I couldn’t look away from his eyes, perfectly blue. They held a bit of sadness almost loneliness. My phone started to vibrate of all times. I took my hand of the glass and grabbed my phone.
“Hello now isn’t the best of times to be calling.” I snapped silently.
"Emily what’s taking you so long?" Great its Hagith calling.
"Well...I got inside alright, made it to his office. But when I tried to get the data, an alarm went off and I had to get out. Now I’m in a room called the, hybrid research /experimentation lab." I sat down and with my back against the tube.
“I don’t care, find a computer and get me my data!" Hagith hung up.
“As you wish, witch." I hissed after she hung up. I leaned back and rest my head against the tube. I knew that I was out of luck. All of the computers were smashed to pieces. I had an idea I just hoped that it worked. I stood up and pulled out my handgun, aimed at the bottom of the tube, and fired.

Jirin
She stared at me. A look of confusion crossed her face and she pulled out a phone, her hand left the glass. I watched her pace back and forward, and then sit down with her back against the glass. I could see her mouth move but I couldn't hear what she said. She looked angry, may be sad. She snapped the phone shut and put it back from where she got it. I watch her lean her head against the glass and close her eyes close. She sat there for awhile the eyes snapped open. She jumped up and pulled out a gun and fired. The glass shattered, I heard it crack. I land on my feet and stood up.

Emily
"Thank-you." he whispered, his voice was smooth. I reached forward and grabbed his wrist.
“Follow me there is not a lot of time, they'll be here soon." He silently followed me like a shadow. I led him though the building to the nearest exit.
“Stop right there!" a voice commanded. I turned around and saw one of Blayce’s goons, Toby. Behind him were a couple dozen men.
"Well, well I didn’t expect to see you here Ms. Emily." Dr. Blayce walked over. Following him were the rest of his goons, Vix and Leaf. He took a step towards me.
“I believe that you have something of mine." Blayce nodded towards the guy that I just saved. Toby chuckled and looked over at Leaf and Vix.
If you’re wondering what they look like, I’ll tell you. They’re all about the same height of six feet, four inches taller than me. Toby’s hair is eight inches long, blond and spiked in a Mohawk. Leafs hair is neon green with black tips; his hair went to his shoulders. Vix’s hair is short and a light red color. The three of them have viper green eyes and a body any girl would kill to get a piece of. Leaf wore a plain black tee with matching pants. Vix had a light blue top and dark blue jeans. Toby wore a white shirt that hugged his chest and light blue pants.

“Now 008-M36-P9 comes with me." Blayce held out his hand.
“No!! That’s not my name, its Jirin!" Jirin shouted in a strangled voice.
“Now Jirin,” Blayce stressed his name “you must understand that you can't go with Ms Emily.” Blayce tensed a bit in anger.
“Make me stay!" Jirin spat. Dr. Blayce snapped his fingers and his goons went to work. Leaf leapt at Jirin, Vix stood in front of Blayce to protect him. The illusion of the other men disappeared, and Toby jumped next to me.
"Hello love, how have you been?" he whispered in my ear as he pinned me against a wall.
“Let go of me d**k!" I hissed at him, as he held my hands above my head.
"Why you use to love it?" Toby coed has he leaned closer to me. Out of every one that I hated I hated him the most. He ripped out my heart and for that I will never forgive him. I looked over and saw that Jirin was keeping up with leaf. Just then leaf delivered a punch that snapped Jirin’s head back. Toby leaned even closer to me.
“You know that you'll never b able to replace me love, never!" Toby then pressed his lips against mine, and kissed me hard. My head was swimming as he kissed my jaw, forehead, and my lips again. I couldn't think strait and I loss conscienceless. He must have used a spell to make my head get all....foggy.
Jirin
I saw the blond kiss Emily again. She looked like she was in a trance. I don't know why, but I got angry when I saw this. The green haired one jumped at me and punched me in the chest. Normally that would put a human at their knees and coughing blood. All it did to me was made me lose my breath.
“Jirin, what kind of name is that?!" He tried to punch me again." What’s yours?!" I spat and hit him in the jaw.
“Leaf!" he growled and lunged for my neck. I dogged Leaf, barley getting out of the way. I grabbed the back of his shirt and rammed his head into my knee. Leaf lay limp on the floor unconscious.
I turned around to see the blond one kiss Emily again, my blood boiled. I ran over to him and pulled him off of her, Emily slumped against the wall. The blond smiled at me.
“Are you jealous Jirin hmmm... well my name is Toby and the one in front of Blayce is Vix." he coed. Toby jumped in front of me and delivered a punch that made that edges of my vision go white. “See Jirin, Emily is mine so dash any thoughts of her out of your head." Toby kicked my knee and I collapsed onto the floor. I rolled out of the way before he could kick me again. Toby’s eyes suddenly grew wide and he fell to the floor. I looked up and saw Emily, she looked different. Her skin was whiter the freshly fallen snow. Her teeth were sharp and deadly, her eyes were dark and hollow, and her nails were sharp and long.
“My, oh my... well you must be you Hagith talks about." Blayce walked over Vix still protecting him.

Emily
“Shut up!" My voice sounded hollow, cold. The sun finished setting and I was fully in my beastly form. If you’re wondering I’m like this until the sun rises again. I look over at Jirin, he had a few bruises his breath was labored. I was impressed that Jirin was able to bring down leaf. I knew that I shouldn’t kill Blayce but I wanted to so bad.
Vix looked relaxed, but ready for whatever I may do. I stood still waiting for something to happen. Jirin suddenly jumped at Vix. Vix successfully dodged him but moved enough to the side that I could get Blayce. “Move any more Vix and I’ll shoot Blayce in the face!" I pulled out my gun and held it by Blayce’s cheek. Vix let go of Jirin and turned to face me. Jirin took a step back, and looked at me too.
"Emily are you really going to kill me?" Dr. Blayce asked, I didn’t answer. Jirin walked towards me and in the split second it took me to blink Vix grabbed Jirin and had a knife at his throat.
“Let the Dr. go, and you may go." Vix growled and pressed the blade a bit deeper. I let go of Dr. Blayce and put my gun away. Vix let Jirin go "What would Toby say Em." Vix sighed. I turned around and ignored him. Jirin followed me into the night outside.
After a while we reached the car couple of yards away. I got into the diver seat Jirin into the passengers and buckled up. I drove a bit.
“You should wear your seat belt.” Jirin said, I looked at him.
“After all that’s happened, the fact that I’m definitely not human. I mean look at me, and you’re worried about me not wearing my seat belt." I said I looked over at Jirin bruised and battered and laughed a bit. I smiled and rolling my eyes pulled my seat belt on. The rest of the ride was quiet. When we arrived at the city, down an old road that led to an old four bedroom house; did something happen that I did not expect.
As I slowed down my car to a stop and unbuckled Jirin turned my face towards him, and kiss me quickly on the cheek then got out. Hiding my shock I got of the car to and went to the front door." Hagith!" I shouted has I walked in "I brought a guest." The house is one story, a garden in the back, and about 32 acres of woodland area behind it. Hagith came out with Teall following her.
“Emily you finally got here! Who’s this, did you get the data?" she rushed out in one breath.
“This is Jirin he’s a hybrid," he flinched when I said that, “but no data. I’ll have to go somewhere else and bring a computer." Hagith nodded and led us inside.

Jirin
Hagith wasn’t as old as I thought. I’ve heard Blayce talk about her. She looked about 36 the same age as Blayce. Hagith was wearing a flowing orange and yellow skirt, and a light green shirt with angel sleeves that went to her wrist. Her jacket was made of a translucent fabric of a pail red sleeveless and went to her bare feet. Her platinum blond hair was pulled back in to a bun.
The guy following her had dark brown skin in contrast to her peach colored skin. His hair was in tight black curls on his head. He wore an airy white button up shirt with the long sleeves rolled up to his elbows. His pants were a faded blue like his eyes; on his back were white feathery wings. He looked about 21 and really buff.
"Jirin this is Hagith and Teall I live with them." Emily then whispered something in Hagith's ear the walked to a room and went in.
“Jirin that room right there is now yours. The room on the fight is mine, the on the right of that is Teall’s, and the last on is Emily’s." She pointed to each room as she spoke.
“Across the hall is the two bathrooms and the kitchen is down the hall on the left. To the right is the living room and out the sliding doors in that room leads to the garden. Please don’t touch anything and if you do leave the house tell someone." Hagith went to go to her room then stopped before going in." Teall see if any of your close fit him please?" She then went in to her room. I followed Teall into his room.
“See anything you like just saw so." He spoke with a thick Germen accent. I pick out some jeans, white shirts, some black shirts. I went to my room put the close away the laid on my bed then went asleep.

Hagith
I wonder how much that boy knows. He’s seen Emily in her beast form. But what puzzles me the most is that she brought him here. That also bring up the question of why Blayce would make a hybrid. Blayce always talked about how you could mix magic D.N.A. with human D.N.A like any one could do it. Well magic can be inherited from a person’s jean (that’s what happens when two or one of magic has a kid) and that would be in the D.N.A technically speaking. But what he needs to understand is that person needs to be born with magic for it to work later in life. Well apparently he found a way because Leaf Toby and Vix are alive.
Blayce must have used his D.N.A, on them, though there hair is different than his short brown hair. They have the same eye color as him, maybe better good looking then him just because there younger. But the boy Jirin is the first hybrid that he’s made.
I wonder if Blayce used magic D.N.A on him also. I can tell he used feline but which type? Walking over to the ceiling high mirror that I had, I undid my hair. It flowed down to a few inches above my knee. I snapped my fingers a chair appeared next to me and I sat on it. Snapping my fingers I made a brush appeared and stared to brush my hair, and remember the first time that I met Emily.
It was the year 1200 ad in a small town in England. I lived on the outskirts of the town, daily life revolved around the church at the center. 16 years earlier a girl was born to the town. She had fair skin and beautiful red hair, but because her eyes were different colors they rejected her. This girl was, and is Emily. I first saw her in the town square during market day. She was being teased and taunted, a boy pushed her. She turned around and punched him in the face. The children ran off caring the boy.
"Emily little witch girl!" they screeched behind their shoulders. Emily walked off to her house, alone. Because her eyes were mix match everyone thought that she was witch. It made me chuckled because I am a witch and I knew that Emily wasn’t a witch. I don’t know what happen next but Emily told me latter.
When Emily got home the priest and some of the town guards were in front of her house.
“Emily you have been convicted of witch craft and the murder of your mother." He gave her a sickly sweet smile. The guards dragged her off, to the center of town where they were going to burn her. I watched them tie her up and pile up the kindling, the priest walked over and placed a silver cross on her neck.
“May god save your soul.” He crossed himself then walked off as they lit the kindling. The flames lick up her legs and burn her. Emily screamed in pain, some people turned away. After every one left someone put out the fire then left her. I walked over and took her over to my hut, and begun for the hardest thing I’ve would ever do.
It took the rest of the day to gather the herbs that I would need. I placed a cot in the middle of my hut and covered it with lily’s. I dressed Emily in a simple white cotton dress, and laid her on top of the lily covered cot. I got all of the herbs and boiled them all together in some water in one of my pots. I looked over and noticed how badly her stomach suffered; there was a hole in the dress there.
After the stew was done I took out a small blue butterfly from a cage. It fluttered done onto her stomach. I put a drop of the stew right above the butterfly, on each of her eye lids, and her lips. I took a deep breath and began the chant:
“One who lies on a bed of lily’s in deaths grip.
You will be reborn, like the caterpillar, into your higher form.
From a caterpillar, to a cocoon, to a butterfly.
This is your cycle of life.
Now awake from your cocoon, rise"
After this the room grew pitch black then was filled with light again. The butter fly and the drop above it turned into a permanent mark on Emily’s skin. She started to breathe again and I fed her the rest of the stew. When she was fully awake I told her what I did, she glance at the butterfly on her stomach.
Emily traced to outline of it," Is there any bad side to this?" she stared at the floor.
“Yes... every night you will turn into a beast. You must work for me for the rest of your life. Do you understand?" I put my hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah...” she didn’t look up. I gave her some pants and shirt to change into. After Emily changed she curled up on the cot and went to sleep.

Emily
I woke up the next morning after dreaming of the first time that I met Hagith. I still have the butterfly mark on my stomach. I remember the first change; it hurt a lot for the first few years. After five years I got use to it, and it didn’t hurt any more. I don’t have the silver cross any more, Toby stole it from me. If I had known that he was with Blayce then I would have never have been friendly with him.
But I didn’t find out till it was too late. About seven years ago was the first time we met Blayce, in 2000. He’s a doctor of science, and a very powerful magician; the only one who could beat Hagith. He went to human schools, and was taught magic by his parents. Dr. Blayce made Vix, Leaf, and Toby; he injected them with magic D.N.A. So when they were born, he took them from their mothers and raised them.
That’s all that I understand about that. Blayce thinks that you could explain anything with science. The guys a little bit of a nut job if you ask me. Hagith still hasn’t told me why that data is so important. She’ll tell me one of these days.

Blayce
I can tell that Leaf is annoyed that he lost to Jirin. I have no doubt that he would have won against Toby, if it came down to it. Vix and Toby were sitting together on the couch and Toby sat in the chair opposite of mine. He was toying with Emily’s necklace, blankly staring at it.
I’m amused with Hagith. She should know that if she wants to know what I’m planning to do, she just needs to ask.
But I must confess that I’m a bit mad that Emily took Jirin. All the hard work I put into the boy, most of all to keep him separated from the others.
“Blayce, what are we doing any ways?” Leaf chimed in.
“Well boys, we are trying to show humans that with time they too can be something great.” I looked at each as I said this.
“Like us, right Blayce?” Toby glared at Vix when he said that.
“Yes boys…like us.”


End of Part I


Part II
Emily
I don’t remember going back to sleep, but I woke up again this morning. I quickly got dressed in a blue spaghetti strapped shirt, green camo pants, and my boots. When I got out to the kitchen I saw that everyone was already up. Hagith and Teall wore the same out fits as yesterday; Jirin was wearing a black tee and blue jeans.
“Morning Emily.” Hagith sang to me. Teall nodded a hello, Jirin smiled. “Do you want something to eat?” Hagith asked. I shook my head and sat down next to Jirin.
“Hoped that Hagith didn’t bug you too much.” I received a glare from Hagith. “Hey Hagith I haven’t gone through the course for a while.”
Hagith gave me a motherly look. “Not till you eat something!” She then put a plate in front of me. I silently ate the food, when a thought crossed my mind. Jirin would have to be at least two inches then me for Teall’s jeans to fit him. An odd thought thought.
After I finished the food I got up, “Hagith I’ll meet you in the clearing.” I called over my shoulder as I went out the door.

Jirin
“She’s stubborn alright,” Hagith sighed. “Jirin you can come with me or stay here with Teall.” She then went over to the sink and cleaned of a bit. After she dried of her hands she walked out to the woodland area. Teall got up and walked off to somewhere in the house.
I sat and thought of yesterdays escape. My stomach knotted when I thought about Toby kissing Emily. I slimed my fist on the table and gritted my teeth. I really wanted to smash his head into the ground. I got up and went out to where Hagith was. I followed the path that led though the woodland area to a clearing. The ‘course’ was a boot camp training course from hell. Emily was at the starting line looking calm.
“ ‘Ello Jirin come to watch me?” Emily shouted over at me. I nodded and smiled back. Hagith blew on a whistle and Emily took off.
First she ran through a pit of barbed wire. Then she climbed a wall that was sharp and jagged. When Emily came down the other side her hands were in shreds. It took all that I had not to run over there. Emily jumped into a pond that had a thin layer of ice over the top. It surprised me because it was a warm day.
“I use magic to keep the water frozen.” Hagith said when she saw my expression. After a few minutes Emily got out of the pond with a poll in hand. She went to jabbing with it. I painstakingly watched her go though a few more things then collapse. I ran over following Hagith.
“Help me get her inside,” I put my arms around her middle and Hagith grabbed her feet. When we got inside Teall all read had the couch cleaned for Emily. She looked like she went through a blender on perri. Hagith said a few words in German and Teall left, and came back with some vials. “Jirin I’ll call you when she’s awake. Ok?”I looked at Emily then went to my room.
Emily
“You’re lucky you really can’t die” Hagith said when I woke up. I sat up after she left, and looked at some of the pictures hanging. Jirin came in and sat next to me.
"Why did you do that?”He looked at me with those perfect blue eyes.
“So ill get better.”I stared back at him.
“I just, wish you wouldn’t do it.” Jirin looked really sad.
“But I have to I mean...if I don’t one of these days Dr. Blayce is goanna figure out how to kill for good. I also want to friggin kill Toby so he’ll leave me alone,” I turned to face him.
“Why did he kiss you?” Jirin’s knuckles were clenched.
“Me and him went out for awhile, before I knew that he was with Blayce. I know that he wants me back…” I paused.
“Do you still love him?”
“No I…” Before I could finish Jirin pinned me down. He pressed his body against and kissed me. His tail brushed my leg and thigh. His right hand went up my shirt a bit, as his tongue slipped in between my lips. The kiss seemed to last forever. When Jirin pulled a way he looked at me then sat up. He was blushing a bit, so was I. “Emily, Jirin foods ready!” Hagith called from the kitchen. We walked over, his kiss replaying in my head.

Leaf
“Where the ******** is he!?” I looked over at Vix; he shrugged then went back to reading. Toby was snoozing in a chair with her necklace in his hands. “I don’t understand why he didn’t tell us about Jirin.” I stomped my foot in anger.
Toby woke up, “Leaf you sore loser, and get over it. You’re not the only one mad about this.” He sat strait up. I had to remind myself that Toby hated Jirin too. Vix finished what he was reading and put it down.
“Toby why don’t you just get over her, you’ll never get her back!” I snapped at Toby.
“Leaf leave him alone!”
“Why the bloody hell do you always take his side Vix!?” Vix stood up and grabbed me by my collar.
“Back off Leaf!” Vix growled.
“Make me a*****e!” I spat at him.
“Shut the ******** up both of you!” Toby yelled and went off to his room. Vix let me go and pushed me away from him. He then walked off to where ever. I sat down and waited for Blayce to come back. Why the hell was Emily so important to Toby? She’s nearly killed him a least seven different times. Why did he still hang on to her?

Toby
I sat on my bed and thought about Emily. I put her neck lace next to her picture. We were at the beach, a bright sunny day. She had her hair back in a pony tail, black bikini top. Her swim shorts were black with red flowers. Emily was waving, smiling while I was taking the picture. She wore the necklace in the picture.
I missed her, why did she leave? I tried to stop them but she saw me. I tried to talk to Emily but she wouldn’t listen, wouldn’t give me a chance. “I could talk to her, maybe just see her.” I sighed to myself.
I snuck out to my motorcycle and drove to Hagith’s. Why didn’t Emily tell Hagith that I knew where they lived? Maybe it’s her way of saying that she still cares. I stop and get of my motorcycle half way down the road to Hagith’s house. Walked the rest of the way, and went around to the back.
When I was walking past the back door I saw them kiss. I wanted to kill him!! I walked off a bit and waited silently. After every one was asleep I saw Jirin come out side. When he was close enough I grabbed him by his throat and pinned him against a wall. “Touch her again freak and I’ll kill you!” I growled at him. He just stared at me with his blue eyes.
Then Jirin got out of the hold and pushed me against the wall. “I’m not goanna let you hurt Emily. You’ve caused her too much sorrow and pain. Every day she nearly kills herself, just so that she can get stronger so she can KILL YOU! You will never hurt her again.” I push away from him and ran into the woods. I ran far and yelled in frustration.
I punch trees till I couldn’t feel it any more. My knuckles were shredded and sore, but I ignored it. I sat down on my knees. I hated Jirin, I wanted to kill him. Worse was the fact that Emily wanted to kill me. Didn’t she know that I was the reason that Blayce hadn’t killed her yet? Doesn’t Emily know that I’m messing up everything that he does so he can’t? Doesn’t she know that I still love her?

Emily
I watched Toby’s and Jirin’s verbal match. After Toby ran off Jirin came inside. He saw me then stared at the floor.” I meant what I said. I won’t let him hurt you.” Then he walked off to his room. Oh hell what have I done know? I went outside and ran after Toby. “Em!” He stood up and walked towards me. I pulled out my gun and pointed it at him.
“Why the ******** did you come back!”
“I just wanted to talk, just talk…” He clenched his fist. I could see they were blood and cut up. “Why did you choose him? After what I’ve done, not telling Blayce how to kill you!? And you choose him over me!” Toby wiped his eyes…he was crying.
“Toby I don’t love you, leave me alone!” I turned around and ran back to the house; I needed to talk to Hagith.
The next morning after I got dressed I walked over Hagith, who was at the dining table. “Hagith where is the lap top?” She stared at me, then swallowed her mouthful of food. “I’m going to get the data today.”
“Well, be back soon. Okay?” I got up and went over to put on my black coat. Jirin put his hand on my arm.
“Emily I want to help.”
I shook my head, “I got to do this alone, ‘Kay?” I leaned forewords and kissed him quickly on the lips. I got in my car and stared to drive. “I’m off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of OZ...”

Kayli
The room was dimmed, it’s always dimmed. I’m in cage in a small dimmed room. I grew up in the room, but since I tried to escape to many times. I wasn’t aloud any visitors, but that never stopped him. Every day he came in, with his short red hair and green eyes.
“Hello Kayli, I brought you something.” He smiled sweetly.
“Hey Vix, see you were able to sneak out.” I stood up in my cage. Vix handed me a little black bear. “It’s cute!” We oddly hugged because of the bars. He brushed some of my spiky pink hair.
“It has the same eyes as you.” I looked at the bear; it did have brown eyes like me. I hugged the bear close to my chest. Vix always brought me gifts, toys, chocolate whatever. I’ve grown close to Vix; he was my connection to the outside world.
“Kayli I uh…” Vix leaned forwards and kissed me on the lips. I jumped back in surprise. Vix looked upset, “I want to try that again?” He leaned forwards and pressed his lips against mine.
“Better?” He asked. I nodded yes, wanting the kiss to last longer. “I have to go so Blayce doesn’t find out.” I watched Vix leave the room, it seemed darker without him.

Vix
I always hated the way that Toby talked about Emily. When I overheard Blayce talk about the clone he made of her. I was tempted to tell Toby, but I didn’t. I went to see her, started to visit her every day. Kayli looks just like Emily, except for the fact that her hair is pink and she was brown eyes. I started to understand why Toby loves Emily. Their smile, laughter, the way that they act, the simplest things that they do, just makes you want to protect them.
Kayli doesn’t know why he she is here, I want to tell her but it won’t make a difference. Leaf doesn’t understand why Toby loves Emily, but I do. And I know what’s to come.

Emily
I drove to this huge building in the middle of the day. I parked my car in the back lot. “Getting here easy, getting in even easier, but getting what I need is a whole different story.” I got out of my car tighten the lap top bag strap and pulled out a vile that Hagith gave me. It was filled with this thick dark green goop. It tasted like last month’s road kill, but it did its job.
Within seconds I was invisible though it only lasted a half a hour. I slipped into the building and looked for a computer. It took me ten minute before I found a computer. After I hooked up the lap top it was a few minute before I got what I wanted. Hopefully Hagith will tell me why this data is so important? I was nearly visible when I got all of the data, there was a lot. Snatching the lap top I ran for an exit.
“Hey you! Stop where you are!” Three guards started to chase me.
“Crap I need to hide.’’ Then I noticed door with no handle. As soon as I put my hand on it, it opened fight up. I jumped in side and closed the door behind me.
“Who are you?” I turned to face were the voice came from, and started. It was me, well sort of. The look alike had brown eyes and spiky pink hair. She was wearing dark blue overalls and a black shirt. Her voice was just like mine.
“Did Vix get caught?” There was concern in her voice. “Where is he, is he alright, is he hurt?” She grabbed the bars, turning her knuckles white. She started to cry.
“What’s your name?” I took a step towards her.
“Kayli…” She sat done. Was she brain washed or something? The Vix that I knew was a murder machine. I still couldn’t get over the fact that she looked a lot like me. Hearing the door open I turned around.
“Speak of the devil…” I muttered. Vix looked at me then at Kayli, his eyes wide with fear; then they narrowed.
“Em leave Kayli alone, she doesn’t know!”
“Know what?! I don’t even know!” I slowly walked to the door.
“When you find out…don’t hurt her. Promise me that you won’t.” Vix looked scared, like he carried about Kayli.
“Why should I? After all the times you tried to kill me?”
“Em, besides me, you’re the only one that knows about her. Blayce doesn’t know that I come and visit her, I haven’t told Toby or Leaf. Just promise me when you find out that you won’t hurt her.” I looked at him and for a moment he looked like Toby.
“Where will I find out?” I was close to the door.
“In the data that you took. I f you leave know I won’t tell that you were here.” During the conversation Kayli hadn’t moved.
“Why would she hurt me? Is there something wrong with me?” Vix turned to face her, and brush her cheek with his finger.
“No little one, there’s nothing wrong with you. You just...different.” He gave Kayli a quick kiss, she was blushing. “Em please?” he begged. I nodded and left the room running down the wall.
Once outside I called Hagith. “I coming home and I want answers!” I hung up the phone and drove. I ran three red lights and a stop sign on the way home. I ran into the house and slammed the door behind me.
“Emily what the hell is wrong!?” Hagith stood up from her chair at the table, Teall looked up at me.
“Hagith here is the data tell me what you need it.”
“Alright give me a minute…” I walked off to the kitchen.
“Emily your back!” I turned around and saw Jirin come inside from out back. He moved forwards and wrapped his arms my waist. Jirin kissed my neck. He pulled me closer then kissed me deeply on the lips. Hagith came in after we finished kissing.
“Emily there’s something that you need to see.” We followed her back to the dining room.
“Hagith what did you find?” She looked at me worried.
“You have a clone…her name is Kayli. Blayce found out, you need to hide.” I got up and grabbed my phone.
“What are you doing?”
“Hagith I got to do this.” As I walked away Jirin stood up in front of me.
“Emily Toby wouldn’t do this…he wouldn’t betray you.” I stared at him.
“You heard us didn’t you?”
“Yeah… I don’t care what he said about me. But I know that he wouldn’t do this to you.” He stepped to the side. As I went pass he whispered, “If you go after Blayce I want to help.” I walked outside and dialed Toby’s number.

Leaf
It’s her fault any ways. It always been Emily’s fault, everything changed when she came into the picture. I remember when we were younger, before we stopped ageing. Vix would play with his knives and blades. Twirling them threatening us with them if we bugged him. Toby would take pictures of everything and post it on his bedroom wall, collect bugs in jars. Blayce showed me how to put things apart and put them back together toys, clocks, wrist watches, anything really. Back before Vix always took Toby’s side.
“What do you think?” Blayce’s voice snapped me back into reality.
“Of what?”
“The plan of course.” I closed my eyes for a moment.
“Yeah like your get Toby to do it!”
“Do what?” Toby walked in and sat down. Vix sat in the opposite corner of me.
“Like hell he’ll tell you.” Vix growled under his breath, and glared at me.
“Nothing boys, Just something that involves myself and Leaf.”
“Yeah but it’s about me!” While Toby and Blayce yelled at each other, I zoned out a bit. They never yelled be for she came, never. Vix yelling unzoned me.
“Shut up!! They’re not going to tell you Toby so just shut up!” Vix was standing then he sat down in a huff. It was dead silent, Blayce looked calm. Toby’s phone started to ring; he resembled a dear in head lights when he looked at it.
“I…uh got to take care of this.” He scrambled out of the room fasted then a lab rat on fire. Vix continued to glare at me.
“Well boys, I have a few things that I need to take care of.” Blayce stood up and left the room. As soon as he was out of the room, Vix threw one of his knifes at me. It landed between my legs.
“Vix what the-” Before I could finish talking he pinned me down on the floor with his knife at my throat.
“Tell me what the hell Blayce is planning or so help me god I will kill you.” There was a menace in his voice.
“If I told you then it wouldn’t be a surprise!” I hissed at him.
“You son of a-” Before Vix could finish I reversed the hold and pinned him down with a loud thud. His knife went flying across the floor.
“I’m not goanna tell you because that would ruin all my fun.” My face was mere inches from his.
“Ah…that looks kind of wrong from my point of view.” Toby just walked in. Vix pushed me off and got his knife. “Um what were you two…” Toby didn’t finish because Vix gave him a death glare. I wondered for a moment if I should tell Toby what Blayce plans to do his little Emily.
“Toby what would you do if Blayce killed Emily?” Toby’s face went starch white.
“H-how would he do that. She’s kind of hard to k-kill.” Toby was griping the arm of the chair. Vix stared at the floor, a look of guilt on his face.

Vix
“Everyone has their secretes…right Vix?” Leaf had a sneer on his face. I was really nervous that he would know about Kayli. Blayce came back in.
“Boys what are you talking about?”
“Nothing just that you made a poison that Toby can use on Emily.” Leaf’s sneer turned into a Cheshire cat smile. Toby’s eyes were wide in fear.
“Is it-” Blayce cut him off.
“Yes, but tha-”
“That right you can finale get rid of that b***h!” Leaf cut off Blayce.
“Leaf you…” Blayce stopped when Toby jumped across the room at Leaf.
“Take it back you ******** d**k! Take it back!” Toby screeched. Toby stared to punch Leaf, and for once I just sat back and watch. Leaf really deserved it this time.
“Toby!!” Blayce shouted, but doesn’t do anything; he knows not to interfere. Leaf blocked most of the punches; at the same time he tried to push Toby away from him. Then Toby got in a good punch and knocked Leaf backwards, his nose gushing blood. I went over and grabbed Toby dragging him to a chair and sitting him down.
“What the ******** was that for!?” Toby sat up when his nose stopped bleeding.
“Leaf leave Toby alone. Now is not the time for this!” Blayce glared at each of us. Leaf stormed off to his room, Toby stared at the floor. He turned to me and whispered.
“Why do you take my side of things? You never use to.” I looked at him and gave a small smile.
“Cause every love sick puppy needs help.”

Leaf
Little friggin sleaze. Why the ******** did he do that?! The little p***k didn’t have to punch me. It doesn’t matter; he’ll thank me when I get rid of Emily. Toby doesn’t know how good he’ll have it once she’s gone. He’ll feel much better once she’s gone. Blayce said that she’ll come to use, in her own sweet time. But soon, very soon, I’ll make her pay for all that she’s done. Soon its goanna be all over.

Vix
About a little while later Leaf came out of his room, by this time Blayce had cooled down a bit. One of the guards’ came.
“Excuse me, but Hagith and company are here Sir.” The guard left.
“Very well then, boys follow me.” We followed Blayce out the room and down the hall. We went to a waiting room where they were. The room was about the size of a stage. Hagith was wearing her red and orange outfit. Teall had his wings folded on his back against an airy white shirt. Emily wore an aqua blue shirt, black pants, black boots, and her hair back in a lose pony tail. Jirin had the same outfit as Teall but a black shirt.
“Lovely you’re all here!” Blayce said as he sat down. We sat in chairs behind him across from them. “Well I guess since that you’re here you know what I’m planning to do. If you’re here to stop me, don’t bother.” Blayce and Hagith were staring right at each other.
“You don’t have to do this. There’s no need to play the god role!”
“I believe that I more of a helper.” He stressed the last word. Blayce snapped and the guards’ brought in Kayli. Toby’s jaw dropped to the floor, Leaf’s eyes were wide. Jirin raised an eyebrow; Emily was just about the only one that looked calm. Then Kayli did the one thing that I wished that she didn’t.
“Vix!!” She said my name.
“So you’re her little visited...no matter.” He tossed Leaf a syringe. “Use it on her instead.” A large grin popped on Leafs face. He grabbed Kayli around the waist and put the syringe next to her neck. Hagith and Teall jumped up and ran after Blayce out the room, Jirin stood up in front of Emily. Toby still looked dazed and confused.
“So what will happen if I poison her? Will you die too or not? Are you willing to take that chance?” Emily was glaring at Leaf. Toby was looking between the two of them. Leaf was about to inject the poison, but in one swift movement I knocked it out of his and push Kayli out of the way.
Leaf tried to push me out of the way to catch it but he didn’t, it landed on my arm and immediately shattered. The poison worked fast, I was already going numb. I turned to look at Kayli; I wanted her to be the last thing that I saw.
“I love you…” The world went black.

Toby
I heard Vix say his last word then fall and die. The Emily look alike was crying, keeps telling him to come back. But he won’t he’s never goanna come back. Leaf went to grab her, but Emily pulled out her gun and pointed it at Leaf.
“Leave her alone d**k!” Leaf leaped at Emily and grabbed her gun. Jirin got the other girl and left the room.
“Leaf leave Emily alone, this doesn’t have to end this way.” I got up and stood in front of Emily.
“You’d die for her!? What do you think that you’ll get in return?” Leaf snarled at me.
“Emily get out of the here.” I heard her hesitate before she left. “I don’t care if she hates me Leaf. I still love her!”

Emily
I was half way down the hall when I heard it. The bang of the gun and the sickening thud as Toby hit the floor dead. Even though I hated his guts, I still felt a pain inside of me when I heard this. I sped up when I heard the alarm of my watch go off, 5min. till sun set. I caught up with Jirin and Kayli.
“Kayli give me your hands, I need to test something.” Me and Kali put our palms together and waited. I guess it was her first change because of the look on her face. I turned into my beastly form, the only difference between us in or beastly form is that her eyes turn violet, and her spiked hair got a bit longer.
“What’s happening to me?!”
“It’s something that happens to me…well us at sun down.”
“I don’t want to change!!” When she said that not only did she change back but so did I.
“And I thought that you were different before…” Toby trailed off. I was shocked but grabbed Kayli’s hand back.
“Please I need to change back!” She nodded and I changed back.
“I want to fight him!” I looked over at Jirin.
“Will you stay here with her?” He nodded and kissed me on the cheek. “I’m going to help Hagith and Teall.”

Kayli
Emily went off to help the other two.
“How cute Jirin your baby sitting the clone.” Leaf coed, Jirin glare at him.
“How cute its Blayce’s gay lover.” I coed back at him. His face turned a bit red.
“Shut up!!” He snarled at me.
“But is true, that’s why you killed Vix. Caused Blayce liked him the best, so you tried to be friends with Toby. But he left you for Emily and you couldn’t take it anymore.” Leafs face was really red when I finished. He jumped at me but Jirin pushed him out of the way.
“You let a cat freak fight for you?”He charged at me. I stood in front of Jirin. I the split second I took me to punch Leaf I turned into my other form. He went flying across the hall, unconscious.
“Should we go then?” Jirin gave me a smile; I could see why Emily liked him. When we got to where everyone was, Blayce said.
“I’m so sorry to leave, but I have much to do and so little time to do it in.” He snapped his fingers and he and Leaf disappeared. Emily went over to Hagith and told her something.
“Kayli come here I…uh want to turn back.” As soon as we touched finger tips we both turned back to normal. Hagith’s mouth was ajar, Teall raised an eyebrow.
“Kali… I think that you should live with us.”
“Hagith we have some thing we need to do first.” I followed Emily and Jirin to the room were Vix lay dead. Emily started to make a pile of flammable objects. “Can you help me?” Me and Jirin helped her put the bodies on the pile. Vix was starched white; Toby had a hole in his chest. Emily took out this vial with this orange goop in it. As soon as the goop touched the pile it burst into flames.
“Come on you don’t have to watch.” We followed Emily out of the room. She drove us away from that place.

Jirin
I’m letting Kayli have my room and I’m moving into Emily’s room.
“So what do we do next?” She looked at me with her mix matched eyes.
“We look at the rest of the data and stop Blayce from whatever he’s goanna do.” I sighed and sat next to her on the bed, wrapping my arms around her waist. Emily rested her head on my chest, and closed her eyes.
“I know Jirin…I know.”
