Some short story that I wrote
Switch
Bzzzzz.Bzzzzz.Bzzzzz. The fly floated around my head, I didn’t pay any attention. The priest was saying something about the kid that just died. I forgot their name already, not important. I had to be there when they left, when their soul left. It was my job, making sure that they went in the right direction. The fly left.
The fly landed on the kid’s new grave. It sat there as they lowered the kid’s coffin into the ground. I watched the mourners do there thing, I think the last one was the kids mom. I waited there till they all left, waited for the kids departing soul. The rain started to fall, a cold shower. I was soaked but it didn’t matter, and to be here when the soul left.
Out of the ground there came a mist with a humanlike shape. “You have to leave…your not supposes to be here.” I said quietly.
“I don’t want to leave…” The ghost boy whispered. I stepped closer to them
“Hey I’d be scared to!” I said barley a foot away from them now. The kid looked about yew years younger then me.
“What’s you’re name?” The kid asked me. I thought about it for awhile, we weren’t supposes to tell then our names.
“Alex…” I said slowly, that was the biggest mistake I ever did and the last.
“Good then that’s gonna be my new my new name!” The kid shrieked at me. The world got really black, I couldn’t breath. The last thing that I herd was that kids laugh.
Bzzzzzzzzz.Bzzzzzzzzzzz. The fly landed on the newly redone grave…my old grave. I got up and left that place with my new body. The fly followed me.
And another
Temptation
It was late in the evening…the star fell. I remember when I was young I asked my dad why stars fell. He told me that they fell because angels came down to earth to help people. I remembered that as I watched the star fall. I learned once some where that stars are balls of gas and chemicals. So if that’s what angels are made of why would any one want to go to heaven?
Some one once told me when I was young that demons hated every one. Well I would too if I had to live in molten rock all day. I always wondered if you had to chose when you died, to where you wanted to be? What if you wanted you stay on earth…
So I did…I stayed on earth. Its fun, lots of fun, but I’m lonely. So I started recruiting people…whispering in their ear to follow me. There are five of us, but soon there’s going to be more of us, I get every one to follow me. And then no one will be alone any more. No one will ever be alone, never…
But that isn’t enough any more. We need more people; I need to prove to them that it’s fun to stay. Not chose. So I started playing some jokes on people, then having them follow me when they died. So many people followed me, but then they started to leave again. I didn’t like that, so I forced them to stay.
After a while I started to change, I grew horns and a spiked tail. The evil things in the dark wanted me to go with them…I said no, they were evil. I went up to a little kid told them they should come with me, it was fun I said.
“No!” They screeched at me. “I wont go with you evil demon!” And then I was so alone.
And yet another
Killing essay
My name isn’t that important…I just need you to here my story. You see I’m not all as bad as they told you, what I did was a public service. They deserved what I did to them…I shouldn’t be in jail! No I am not a bad person I did the right thing! What I did was justified, needed!
Do you want to know what they did, hmm? A bad teacher they were, yes a bad teacher. Very bad to their students, very very bad to their students. Every one told me not sign up for that class, but I needed that credit to graduate collage. I needed that credit so bad. One of my friends went to that class with me. Beth. Her name was Beth and they hurt her, they hurt her bad.
Me and Beth have been friends for a long time, the best of friends. Kindergarten was when we met, lived across the street from her. They made her cry, didn’t accept her paper. She had been up for a long time the night before, working and toiling away for them, writing that damn paper. That damned paper that made her cry. But that wasn’t the only thing that they did. No…that’s not all they did.
They picked on other students, not accept their paper ether. Then they got me…that was all that I could take. So I followed them home one day to figure out were they lived, and then I waited…and waited for the right time. I snuck onto their house then waited for them to come home. I sat in their chair; it smelled like them…the last thing that would.
The sweet feeling that I had when the shook was on their face, then the slow realization of what I was going to do showed on their face, pure terror. They begged me and pleaded I didn’t listen, oh no I didn’t listen. I shot them over and over again, just to here that sweet sound. Then they fell to the ground…and do you know what I did next? Well I shoved Beth’s paper down their throat, made them accept it.
I sat down and waited for the police to come, tell them this story. They didn’t listen, but have... don’t you get it? I’m not a bad person you see? What I did was right, justified.
