When no one else is there to give me a boost, my shadow is there waiting
No objection, whine, or a moment of debating
I walk, not alone, but with my problems and my shadow
Not fast at all, at the speed of your average cattle
Some where far, a good hours distance
Calmness and serenity, not an ounce of resistance
My sites set strait forward, staring eternity in the eye
Taking notice to nothing that may pass me by
Slowly I get calmer, collecting my head
Running over every thing that has been said
My soul not belonging to a god or a devil
Against all bounds, my heart turns into a rebel
My mission is only to calm my mind
To keep my head from a steady decline
I walk Until Im sure I'll be better
Fit to handle any circumstance with a stronger letter
I come back, relaxed, my attitude changed
My situation often better, my problems rearranged
All this because of a short two, maybe three hour walk
Not a sound made, because theirs no need to talk
He stays beside me, only leaving me when its time to go home
My inner clock, telling me when its no longer time to roam
I never walk by my self, He is my darker clone
Hes my partner in self peace, He never lets me walk alone
