I've been sick and overloaded with homework for the past few days, so I haven't been as good as I should be with this journal. I, therefore, have little that I can say other than...
SICKNESS IS WEIRD! And I am not "down with it" so to speak though I did come down with it...
Umm...
I recently received a "chalk mug" as a present from some of my cousins. The principle is simple: It's a coffee mug made of chalkboard material. You can write or draw on the outside with the chalk they've included, and then wash it off when you want something else.
It's the cup equivalent of the forum signature! When I first got it I had "Ninjas stole my cookies," "Mad Huckleberry Skills" (I had an essay to write.) "If we shadows have offended, turn on the dang light!" "Monday is jabbing awareness day" and now "3vil l337"
Fun for all! As I'm confined to my room, I'll describe my bookshelves.
I have four. Three of them are standard, and one of them is a sort of up-high mantlepiece about one and a half feet below the ceiling. It goes from wall to wall. All of them are full, and not just with books. The lower shelves have actual literature, and the upper shelf houses my manga and favorite books.
I've almost reached 100 volumes of japanese comic books, not counting duplicates. Here's a breakdown:
1-7 of Lone Wolf and Cub 1-31 of Naruto (DON'T JUDGE ME! I GOT STARTED BEFORE IT TURNED INTO DBZ!) 1-17 of Fullmetal Alchemist. 1-9 of Hellsing (Yay Hellsing!!) 1-15 of Ruroni Kenshin (Yay Kenshin!) 1-9 of Battle Angel Alita and 1-3 5-8 of Battle Angel Alita Last Order (YAAAAAY! Alita!) Vol 1-2 of FLCL! (Fooly Cooly FTW!)
Now for the irregulars. These are mostly one my parents got me that I ended up dropping after a bit, or I got for me, but haven't had the funds to keep buying.
Samurai Champloo 1-2 (The anime is SOOOO much better.) Castle in the Sky 1-2 (Print ripoff of the movie, which is SOOOO much better.) Togari 1-3 (Awesome, but I haven't been able to find vol. 4) Zombie Loan 1 (Great! Sadly, I can't find vol. 2) Case Closed 1-3 (WAY too many volume for me to invest time in.)
(Manga, It's my anti-drug!) ((Because when you're paying ten bucks a volume, who can afford drugs?))
That's enough for today.
