[The story came from today's day on Maplestory. Don't ask about game terms.]
Shariie ran across Henesys, her bare feet rushing through the crowds of people and the cool, spring grass. Her brown Zenumist cloak trailed at her feet.
She didn't like wearing shoes. At least, not the ones she had. She only wore them if she had to.
Today, she decided to walk to Ellinia, trying to clear her mind of what had happened this morning.
Killing the slimes and snails in her way certainly took her mind off of the nightmare...
For about five minutes.
Finally, Shariie had reached Ellinia. She made her way through the trees, vines, and leaves of the treetop fairy town. It was also the town of the Magician, the job that she chose to take. Deciding to save time, she teleported the rest of the way to the station.
Shariie noticed her friend was following her.
"Hi Chris. What brings you here?"
"I'm bored."
"Oh, I see."
"Where you going?"
"Nowhere in particular. Probably Magatia. Maybe Aquaroad afterwards."
"Why you going"
"No reason, really."
But there was a reason.
She had a dream-turned-nightmare this morning. In it, she saw someone she used to hate. Now...some feeling of love for him is returning. Suddenly, she looked over to see a corpse of a girl with long hair staring at her. It was alive. It was her.
She woke up, nearly screaming.
A perfect dream turned to a nightmare.
She didn't wanna go back to sleep, risking seeing the ugly thing again.
But yet, Shariie wondered what it was about.
Was it trying to tell her something?
Suddenly, the horn blew, and the ship came to a sudden halt.
They have arrived at Orbis.
