"What in the hell was that Batman?" Lt. Gordon asked. A stern look could be seen behind his glasses as he stared at the costumed man. Batman remained silent. His lips were slightly shaded red from his kiss with the Joker. He turned to look through the two-way mirror into the room he had just left. "Well? What was that all about?" Lt. Gordon asked again. "Leave me alone Jim. I've done nothing wrong..." Batman replied in his deep voice. Anger filled Lt. Gordon. "Nothing wrong?! I just watched you & your enemy, the Joker, have gay sex in the interrigation room!! Are you insane!? The press is going to have a feild day with this one!!" Lt. Gordon exclaimed. Batman turned to face Lt. Gordon. His eyes were filled with anger as he clenched his gauntleted hands into fists at his side. "I. Dont. Care." Batman said through clenched teeth. "I dont care what you think. I dont care what the press thinks. You go through what the Joker & I have gone through...Then you can talk to me." Batman continued. His glare was strong, causing Lt. Gordon to back down. He watched as an obviously angry Batman walked down the hall. Batman walked past the holding cells but stopped when he saw the Joker, sitting on the bench, twittling his thumbs. His green-blonde hair was slightly damp with sweat, his eyes, though bright & excited, looked slightly tired. The Joker felt Batman's unwavering gaze on his body. He looked up at the masked man. "Did you get into trouble Batsy?" the Joker asked with a childish laugh. Batman shook his head. "No. But Lt. Gordon's pretty mad. They have to keep you here over night, though." Batman said with a slight sadness. "Oh well. Who cares what that man thinks. And dont worry your tight little a** off about me being in here. I've spent many a night in here before you started to care." the Joker got up & walked over to the bars. He touched the black armor of Batman's chest slightly before speaking. "Ya know...I dont want you getting soft on me. This doesnt change a thing." He paused. "I know that Joker." Batman grabbed his hand. "We're still enemies...we love each other & we hate each other. And THATS how it has to be!" the Joker said, pulling his hand out of Batman's. He turned & walked back to the bench & sat down. "Now go home, Batsy. Or where ever it is that you go to at the end of the day...I can take care of myself." the Joker glanced at Batman & watched him walk angerly out of the precinct. Joker ran a hand through his messy hair & sighed. "Aw aint that cute! The clown misses his little boyfriend!" A man said, laughing. The Joker looked over at the man, his long brown hair covered by a faded red bandana, his tan face was scarred & his beard was short & scraggly. He ignored the comment to look at the floor. "Hey clown! Im talkin' to you! Ya stupid fairy!" The man said angerly. "Im not stupid. Im not deaf. I know your talking to me, Im just choosing to ignore you." Joker replied without looking up from the floor. The man began to walk over to the Joker. He raised his fist, but Joker was quicker. He kicked the man hard in the groin. That blow sent him to the floor in a bunched up heap.
