It's now morning. We are still locked away in the holding cell. My darling Jenny, she is fast asleep in my lap. She looks almost...almost peaceful when she's sleeping. Me, I haven't slept at all. I was watching her. Keeping all the bad away. Jenny stirred in my lap & looked up at me. "Good morning Jenny." I said as I kissed her white painted forehead. She pushed a few strands of her green hair from her eyes & smiled. "God, she's beautiful. Even with those scars." I thought to myself. She stared into my icey blue eyes. She loves my eyes, she says so all the time. "Hello Johnny. Let me guess, no sleep?" she asked me playing with my hair, tangling her fingers in it even though it's kind of greasy. "Nah, too busy watching you<3" Jenny smiled & sat up. "Aw" she paused to kiss my lips, "That's sweet! Kind of like your my stalker! Now your not the only man to watch me sleep." She was refering to her father. He liked to come into her room at night sometimes, sit on the floor & watch her. It's kind of creepy to me but sweet at the same time. "Mm-hm." I said with a smile. She looked around. Jenny wasn't a very patient person, same as her father. "When do you suppose they are going to let us go?" she asked puzzled. I scratched my head, I needed a shower desperatly. "Don't know love. I guess whenever someone comes to pick us up." As soon as I said this, Dr. Harleen Quinten from Arkham walked in. She was the Joker's latest ex. "Hello Jenny. Your father will be very happy to see you. Oh, hello Jonathan." Dr. Quinten glanced towards me with a disapproving look. Jenny could sense my rising anger & quickly grabbed my hand to calm me. A police officer opened the door to the cell & the two of us walked out, hand in hand.
When we got out to the transport truck Dr. Quinten pulled me aside & said, "What are you doing to her?" I stared at her confused. "What do you mean?" She sighed. "No one in their right mind could love you like that!" I became very angry at this & was glad Jenny was already in the truck. "Look b***h. Your just mad because the Joker broke up with you." this silenced Dr. Quinten. I climbed onto the truck & sat beside Jenny who was smiling. "Nice one shy guy." she smiled, wrapping her arms around me. Dr. Quinten was in a foul mood for the rest of the day. We drove for what seems like forever.
Then we pulled into Arkham. The Joker was standing in handcuffs with two guards on both sides of him. Jenny ran out & hugged her father. "Hi daddy!" Joker smiled "Hello Jenny...hello Johnny." When he addressed me, he was none to pleased. "Johnny, you have a little...red on your lips." The Joker said nonchalantly. I quickly rubbed my lips on the back of my hand. It left a faint red smear. "Oh s**t! He knows! Or he's going to find out! AAAAAHH!!" I screamed in my head. Arms still wrapped around her father & me trailing close behind, we all returned to inside the building. Jenny stopped & smiled. I looked at her confused. "I don't like the look of that smile...What are you going to do Jenny?" I asked myself. She looked at me & let go of her father. "Jenny?" he asked. "What are you doing?" Jenny walked over & grabbed my hand then locked her arm in with her father's. "I feel so...happy right now daddy! And I never thought I would be saying that & walking through the doors of Arkham at the same time!" she replied. The Joker looked at her hand on mine. He then looked at me. I saw it click for him. "Johnny. Be glad I am handcuffed right now. Be very very glad." the Joker said with a devilish smile. I gulped.
