This is something I made up one day. I like writing action/adventure kind of stories or things like this.
A time when she was supposed to be asleep, Emily laid there, wide awake. She could not sleep. Not with two guys with guns standing outside the door, like guards. She didn’t like it. ‘Why me?’ she thought to herself. ‘What do they want with me?’ Then she remembered. Her parents were super smart and were working on a new program. Whoever these people were found out about them and had enlisted their help. She overheard earlier her parents arguing with a strange man. When they refused, two strong men picked her up by her arms and dragged her away. She had kicked and tried to get away but they just gripped harder. She was told she wasn’t going to see them until their boss got what he wanted. What that was, Emily didn’t know. She tried to be brave but these men scared her.
So far, they hadn’t hit her, yet. She hoped it would stay that way, but something inside of her told her otherwise.
