» » This aspiring young man loved nothing more than to tag along with his twin, Nozomi. However, at a young age he was diagnosed with an illness uncommon to most. He was whisked to his room where he stayed most of his childhood life. The boy only ventured from his holding cell, with television, to watch his Mother's work while his Father took Nozomi on dangerous missions with the Pokemon Rangers. That discouraged the boy. Sure he loved to learn, but he also would have loved to explore the vast world of Pokemon. Thus Thayin receded into the dark depths of his mind. Fortunately for him, when Nozomi was around she kept the smile on his sullen face. He knew her as his only light source.
The day that Nozomi brought home a charmander, their mother gave him an eevee. Miyoko had been running an errand when a colleague of hers bumped into her. Before they parted ways, her friend handed her a pokeball. Telling her that she could have more use of it than he. After returning home, she opened the ball and out popped the little eevee. It scurried off to Thayin's room and the rest was history.
Over the years, Thayin grew stronger. Along with him, so had his eevee who now had evolved into an Espeon named Elvira. During his illness, he found a hidden talent that no one in his family had. He could read people's minds and see, partially, into the future. He was amazed that he could share such a rare gift with his companion Elvira. Their bond only grew deeper as the mastery of Thayin's gift improved.
When he turned twelve, he accompanied Nozomi on her adventure after she had returned home on her trip with Zuo, alone. As they traveled around the Kanto Region, they came upon Saffron City, the home of Sabrina. While Nozomi challenged the gym leader and continued to create a name for herself, Thayin made his decision to stay and hone his skills as a psychic. Saying good bye was one of the hardest things he ever had to do. The twins were nearly inseparable. After his sister departed, he grew more independent and wise. It had been six years since he last heard of his beloved sister. His curious thoughts only intensified when his Mother contacted him and told of an invite from a Mr. Blacklot for the both of them. Taking the opportunity, he was sent the invitation and headed for Hearthome City.

» » Thayin is more quiet, reserved, than his twin sister Nozomi. When he does speak, he tends to say things that have to do with reading other people's thoughts. Some may call him rather rude, but he can't help but to delve into other's memories. He apologizes constantly, half-heartedly, for it. Some would say that he has a sister complex. He is very overprotective of his little sister, Nozi.

Elvira was a gift from Thayin's Mother whenever a colleague of hers told her that the eevee would be of more use living with them. The time passed and the bond between Thayin and Elvira grew. Her outward personality is like that of Thayin: Calm, quiet, and rational. She is acutely aware of everyone's feelings that are about her. If she notices someone is upset, she is instantly by their side to make them smile. Thayin tends to use her in contests, alongside his Spiritomb, Boosh.

Thayin met Boosh on his way through route 209 in Sinnoh. He is the most recent pokemon he has captured in quite some time. The Spiritomb had been on a merciless rampage near his home, Hallowed Tower. He had been attacking innocent people, anyone that dared to come in his territory. Thayin called forth his Haunter to at least knock some sense into the unpredictable ghost. The result of the knocking was actually capturing the pokemon, accidently. Boosh is still in the phase of getting to know you. He also has a slight crush on Obake.

Obake is a stalker. That is all one can say. She followed Thayin for days at a time after he ran through Pokemon Tower. She would make faces, pull his hair, and taunt Elvira in her sleep. The ghost was relentless. One day, Thayin grew tired of it and he delved into the ghost's thoughts to know what she was possibly thinking. To his surprise, all she wanted was to be a part of his team. Obake is the practical jokester in the group. She is always trying to make others laugh with her silly humor.
