I wish I was a lion
So I could roar when I'm angry.

I wish I was a wolf
So my bite could be as bad as my bark.

I wish I was a vampire
So I would have an excuse to attack.

I wish I could live a life
Where you aren't ashamed to cry.

I wish everyone could see my pain growing.
I wish my pain wouldn't be judged.

I wish I was a mouse.
Then I couldn't think for myself.

I wish I could be a cloud
And just flow with the wind.

I wish respect and kindness flowed through everyone's blood.
I wish the good never died young.

I wish I could live in the past
Where respect and discipline were balanced.

I wish all could keep silent.
Treat my words with secrecy.

I wish my ears were silenced.
I don't want to hear the world around me.

I wish my eyes were blackened.
Seeing is not believing.

I wish my mouth could be sewn shut.
No one cares about what I say, anyway.

I wish life could be simple and straightforward.
Living, yet not.

I don't want my senses.
I don't need them.
I can last on my own.

I don't need sympathy.
What I need is a heart and sunshine.

I wish I could be understood.
I wish I was visible.
I wish I could be accepted.
I wish I could truly be alive.
I wish to be normal.
I wish for life to be normal.

But wishes never come true.
No one really cares.
It's all an act.
"All the world is a stage."
It's right.
Everyone acts.
Leave me alone until my soul has returned.

I wish I didn't have to follow rules.
They're holding me back too much.

I wish the yelling would stop.
I can't take it anymore.

I wish I didn't have to be perfect.
No one is.

I wish I could be carefree.
But I know that isn't possible.

I wish you could see through my eyes.
Hear what I hear.
Think what I think.
Then maybe you'll understand.
Maybe.
I doubt it.

No one understands.
I wish for love.
True love.
But love is lost.
Romance is overrated.

Don't try to kill me.
I'm already dead.
Deep down.
Inside.
