"Quick get her to the OR,"one commanded the other.
"Get the IV ready,"another one said. Then they started saying things to me.
"Do you know where you are."
"Can you hear me."
"What's your name."
All I wanted was for them to be quiet my leg stung, and my wounds were practically burning. I felt sore all over and I just wanted the pain to subside. I couldn't see the people around me, all I could hear were their voices. My mouth felt like there was lead in it but I had to answer them if I wanted them to shut up.
"Nami," my voice cracked "My name is Nami Tsukiko." To me my voice didn't sound right it sounded like a stranger was inside me, but it was my voice but somehow it seemed different, strained actually.
Then those comforting white hands embraced me again leaving my pain behind.
The second time I woke up I heard whispers and a quiet beeping noise. Mentally I was cursing at the whole world, I just wanted the pain to be over.
After a minute or two I opened my eyes at least the pain wasn't as strong it was dulled.
I then noticed who the whispers belonged to. There was four of them one I recognized immediately it was the mirror image of me, expect to me this mirror image of me had all the good traits and my side owned the bad.
My mirror image of myself smiled reluctantly. It was Naoto my twin brother. On the surface we could be each others mirror image, we both had the same copper colored hair, the same creamy pale skin, the same molten silver eyes that you could read every emotion we were feeling through,same sinful smile; our similarities ended there. Inside our selfs we had completely different personalities.
Naoto was quiet,subtle, and docile he wasn't the type to draw attention to himself or freak out in a crazy situation. In some ways he was intimidating to others, he didn't say what he was thinking about you he kept very quiet never letting anyone see all of his good traits. You had to dig deeper to feed them . Some people thought he was arrogant and he just thought people were bellow him, but he was actually a good person. Naoto was a good patient listener and would never lie to you, no matter how painful the truth was. Also he was just a shy person not sure what to consider people when he first meets them an enemy or a friend.
I on the other hand was his complete and total opposite. When I was around people I was completely outgoing, a ray of sunshine my mother would say. Even in the most boring situations I could always find something amusing to do. Also I wasn't the least bit patient, if I had something to say you could bet it was coming out of my mouth no matter how dumb it sounded. If I didn't like a person I would just tell them, unlike my brother who would think how much he didn't like you and endure a completely boring conversation and thank god when you left him alone. Unlike my brother you always had my complete trust when I first met you always wanting a new friend. Something I absolutely hated was that I had such a horrible temper that my words could stab you, in some ways you could say my words were my weapons, while Naoto was completely calm and barely ever yelled at you.
Naoto smiled at me his dimples showing the whole time.
"Your awake onii-chan,"his usually metallic voice was filled with joy. He seemed so happy, like he hadn't seen me in so many years.
The other three that had come with him turned their heads in unison. A girl with light pink hair that reminded me of the cherry blossoms talked first.
"Nami I'm so happy that your back,"her voice was naturally cheerful and optimistic. There was something strange about her eyes they seemed to be smiling but they weren't any color I had ever seen the almost looked clear, then it hit me she was blind. She looked at the other two that just remained frozen, I'm not sure if it was out of fear or confusion. Her expression changed to an annoyed one. She nudged the girl standing next to her.
This girl had sea green hair. Her eyes were a soft liquid violet color. Compared to the first girl she was short, but both of them were pretty tall. She glared at the other girl before talking.
"Ow that hurt Ami,"she growled.
Ami so that was the first girls name.
"Midori don't just stand there like a statue talk, say something Nami's our friend we haven't seen her in awhile at least say 'hi'," Ami said in a tone that meant don't make me mad.
The girl named Midori seemed embarassed but talked anyway.
"Nami do you remember us," she said in a serene voice.
I looked at them confused I didn't know who they were but they seemed familiar.
"No I don't remember who you are but thanks for visiting,"I smiled politely. I was touched to think that to strangers would care enough to come and visit me.
Midori and Ami's face seemed to crumple, I felt horrible I had made them sad.
Naoto talked. His smile seemed strained too.
"Nami," he whispered "Do you remember Shiki." He said in a choked voice while gesturing to the boy standing next to him.
The boy named Shiki also seemed familiar but while I searched for some memory with him in it, I couldn't find one. He had copper hair that matched mine and Naoto's, and beautiful crystal blue eyes. His face had no smile on it, he looked like he was in pain.
I shook my head "No Naoto who are these people are they your friends," I asked glad to see my brother made more friends.
Naoto's eyes seemed surprised and confused "They are my friends Nami but shiki is your boyfriend and Midori and Ami met you at Cross Academy," he said in shock.
My expression changed from happiness to confusion.
"Naoto that's impossible were supposed to attend Cross Academy next week,"I said "And I've never met any of these people."
Naoto shook his head his eyes looked scared. Midori and Ami seemed hurt. Shiki's expression hurt me to see his eyes seemed to look like I had betrayed him and he also looked like I had stabbed him through his heart.
Then the door opened a doctor walked in, she looked at my visitor's confused expression's. She sighed and started talking like I wasn't there.
She said something about my vampire soul being taken out and I had no memory of what I had happened to me when I was a vampire; and that I now was a human and I only remembered what had happened to me before my soul was taken out.
To me this doctor was crazy vampires didn't exist. Right?
Then the memory filled with pain came back to me. The pain that felt like I was being ripped apart limb from limb the snap that reminded me that I was alive and the pain was real.
I screamed at this horrid memory and I fainted.
