<Naoto's POV>

In so many ways I felt like an idiot I should've known that we weren't going to get Nami back, at least not completely normal. I mean her kidnapper was Kabuto we were lucky to have even got her back alive most of his prisoner's were killed and left some place where there family would see.

Even though I felt like an idiot for expecting things to go back to normal, I felt even worse for not being with my sister the night she was kidnapped. If I had stayed with Nami maybe she would've never been kidnapped and I would've been kidnapped.

At least if I had been kidnapped my sister would still have her memories. If my memories had been erased I don't think it would've mattered Nami had so many friends and was so full of light it didn't seem fair to have all of her good memories erased. Most of her most cherished memories started with us coming to Cross Academy.

On the day she was kidnapped our parents had been killed while trying to protect us. Vampire twins were extremely rare and not seen often and because of that hunter's wanted us dead and vampire's wanted to use us for "World Domination." Only reason why Kabuto didn't change Nami was because he was hoping that he could find me too, and use us for his "Quests."

He hadn't succeeded in that though. So my mind is not at ease, not yet any way. Kabuto could be lurking around in any form waiting for the time to have his minions attack our friends and steal us.

I'm not sure when that time will be but I won't have anyone I know put in danger nonetheless.

I don't know how I'll break it to Nami and tell her that our parents are dead, but first she has to grasp what happened to her. Also I'm wondering how her memories can be restored. All I know is at some point she'll start wanting her memories back all the ones filled with happiness.

I can only hope that she'll wake up soon that way i can tell her one of the favorite memories that I have from before she was kidnapped.

{flashback 2 years ago}

"Come on Naoto cheer up it's our sixteenth birthday do you know what that means," Nami's bell-like voice rang.

"That Tokyo is unleashing a potential road hazard today," I sighed thinking of how horrible my sister's driving was.

"Oh, Naoto your so mean," she pouted. I rolled my eyes. I was in a sour mood today because that meant our grandparent's were coming down to visit, and whenever they visited they always were rude to our mother. They would say that Nami was too "Wild," and I was becoming a "Hermit." It drove me insane they would always tell my mother that her parenting skills weren't strict enough. Sometimes I wonder how my father didn't turn out like our grandparents. Father and Mother were always so extremely happy-go-lucky and you could always tell them everything,yet they still managed to keep us under control. Either way the old farts drove me insane and I was dreading their visit.

Nami sighed."Oh crap that means that grams and gramps are coming today." Nami groaned.

I nodded "Watch gram is going to attack mom and dad again," I growled.

Nami smiled looking completely mischievous.

"What...," I asked not knowing what to think "Nami stop it your creeping me out!"

Her smile widened.

We got my sister's license and went home and gram and gramps were there to greet us. After an hour or so of avoiding them I came down stairs dressed up, Nami pounded down the stairs too and smirked at me before sitting. My face remained emotionless but in my mind I was thinking "Oh god, what is she up to."

Gram and gramps started talking to our parents about god only knows what, whiling I was spacing out. Nami was sitting next to gram the whole time. I noticed her hand creeping towards grams glass of wine.

They started lecturing our parents about their less then perfect guidance for us. Then I saw Nami's hand jerk forward knocking the glass over onto our grandmother's white pants.

"You little monster," my grandmother shrieked. Nami blinked and looked up at her.

"Oh grandma how did you do that," Nami said in an innocent tone. She glanced at me her eyes were laughing.

I smiled it was my turn to attack.

"Grandma you should know that it's not good manners to enter someone's home in dirty clothes," I said remembering gram saying that to mother when I was five and spilled juice on my outfit in the car and we came to her house that day and she commented on my appearance.

"Tsk,Tsk," Nami taunted. I shook my head in disgust.

"Excuse me you two should not be lecturing me about manners when you have none in the first place,"she growled. Nami and I smiled another opening to attack her with.

"Well I beg your pardon," Nami said imitating grams voice "But I believe you have no manners either because your acting like a total b***h its just a stain build a bridge and get over it."

Gram's face turned a dark shade of red like she was ready to scream her lungs out. Our parents looked mortified they never heard Nami curse neither had I. I cut in to save my sister.

"You do know a b***h is a female dog right," I smiled innocently.

Nami smiled it had always been an inside joke, we said that gram always reminded us of an old dog with the fur coat she always wore.

Grams face flustered.

Nami and I burst out laughing two points for us one for gram.
