"That's refreshign to hear. No violence. Heh." Matt laughed nervously, sheathing his sword. "Listen. I'll just ask you a riddle. If you can answer it, I'll lower the drawbridge." the dragon reasoned. Matt nodded. "Alright."
He seemed to clear his throat before speaking. "I'm not good at riddles." Matt murmured. "What? You better at being eaten?" laughed the dragon. The redhead's bangs flew everywhere as he shook his head violently. "What has two ears, two eyes, and a very short life?" he asked. Matt thought about it for a minute, and shrugged. "I don't know." "That's good enough. Lower the drawbridge." said the dragon. Matt's eyes lit up as he was let in. The bridge closed as he then heard the booming voice of the creature outside once again. "He's all yours, Mikami!" he laughed, as Matt then saw a raven-haired man come at him with a mace. He smiled and held the locket to his chest, as no harm was done. Soon that weapon was dinked up and falling apart, so Mikami pulled a sword. Same thing happened. Finally, desparate to win, he started to beat him down with the sheild. Also defeated. Matt nodded in victory as Mikami then gave up and waved a white flag.
Matt then came to the part of the castle where the tower overcame everything around it. "That must be where the maiden lies languishing!" "Languish, languish." she said in a dull tone. "In a dimly lit cell." "This cell is so dimly lit..." "With her spirit unbroken." "Man! You better get me outta here, or you're in big trouble!" she screamed in an oddly manly tone.
He then grabbed the stone wall and began to climb up. "Languish, languish. Dimly lit cells..." rambled the princess above. "Don't worry, I'm coming to save you!" "Well, use the service entrance, peasant!" Matt shivered a bit as he was now far up off the ground and had hold of the window sill. He then hoisted himself inside. "Princess, quickly, before Harold and Richard get here. I, I mean, we can away through the window out to freedom!" he rushed. "Oka--. Wait a minute. Out the window? Oh, not a chance, Buster. I'm afraid of heights." she giggled. He rolled his eyes a bit. "Oh, you have nothing to fear as long as I have this Magic Locket," he said, petting the pendant around his neck. The blonde snapped her head around in his direction. "Magic locket?" "Yeah, the one you gave me!" "I gave you that? I don't give anybody a Magic Locket! It was a loan." she scoffed. "Give it back! Fork it over, buster!" she rushed. He yanked it off his neck and slapped it into her palm.
As the two doddled, they didn't notice Mikami and Light standign there. "Get them, grab them!" Light ordered. "But they're already in prison." Mikami protested. "Do as I say!" the brunette growled. Mattt tried to pull his sword. "I-I'll...I-'ll protect you. I can't get it out...I need the locket!" he grunted. "You're gonna fight them with a locket? You might as well do a dance for spring. No-sir-ree-bob, baby, the locket stays with me." she laughed. "Please?!" "Not on your life!" Mikami then pulled a kinfe to Matt's neck. "Nothing you can do will save her."
..."So it seems..."
