Light looked over to the princess. "Your death, will be horrible and painful, as will yours, peasant." he snickered. Mellina snorted. "Do you realize, of course, Light that this means we're through. Absolutely th-rough."
Back at the village, of Avon-On-Calling, each were still at the Inn, enjoying cold glasses of milk. Matsuda stood outside of the door, crying a bit and ringing a loud bell in his other hand "Hear ye', hear ye...hear ye'." Mello rushed out and stopped the man. "Hey, Town Crier baby. What's happening?" he asked. The others gathered around as well. "Matt, peasant of Jeevas, has been caught trespassing in Knight Light's estate and will be executed!" he sobbed. L's face was pure shock, the others seemed to try and stay calm. "When will this take place?" Matusda stopped and looked up to them. "It doesn't say, you'll have to wait until the late edition." he said, dead serious. "Ah, man. We'll seeya later, Town Crier baby!" Mello exclaimed, then rushing off into the forest. The others followed close after. Back at the tower, Matt now sat chained up in a corner of the cell, across from Mellina. "Eahhhh, Keep your hands off of me!" she suddenly shrieked. "I didn't do anything, I swear." "Ndah Letch!" she growled.
Back in the forest, the three men stood in a circle. "Man, we've been searching for this castle for 3 days. We're liable to get lost." Mello yawned. "No we won't, I have a plan!" L perked. "We'll split up, go in three separate directions, leave a trail of breadcrumbs wherever you go, and we'll follow them back." he explained. "What if the birds eat the crumbs?" asked Mello. "Follow the birds!" "Ohh!" the two men nodded. The three then spit up and went different ways.
L was on one side of the forest, when Little Red Riding Hood came skipping along. "Hi," waved L. "Where you going?" "I'm going to my grandmother's house. I see, she's sick and I got some good things for her to eat.", 'she' then fluttered her eyelashes. L swayed his head from side to side. "I got a hunch. That your grandma's been eaten by a Big Bad Wolf." he murmured to the red-cloaked figure. "That true! I know." "Well, so where're you going?" "I'm going to my other grandmother's!" she giggled, then skipping away.
In the other side of the forest, Near ran across Goldielocks. "Help! Help! Oh, help me Woodsman! Oh, help me! The Two Bears are chasing me from their house!" the 'girl' panicked. "Two bears, I thoguht there were three?" "Well, the Papa Bear kinda wanted me to hang around..." she smiled, then examinging her nails.
Finally, the three men met back up at the castle entrance. "Well, there's The Castle they said no man can get in alive..." L whispered. Then a loud roar rang theough the air. "Aaand now I know why!" he gulped. "Let's split!" Near hissed. The three then ran away frantically.
While up in the tower, Mellina fingered the silk of her dress. "Hey...hey. What do you think they're really gonna do?" she asked. "Well, pfft, they'd never kill a real princess." Matt smiled. "Oh, surely not." laughed Mellina. "That's a ridiculous thought." the sapphire-eyed boy mumbled. "It's time to die!" blurted Light, coming up the stairs with a grin stuck on his face. "So, let's laugh it up!" Matt gulped nervously.
Now, back otuside of the castle...apparently the others had returned. "What has six eyes, six ears, and a short life?" asked the riddling beast gaurding the castle. "Three dumb peasants!" smiled L, proud of himself for knowing. "That's right." nodded the dragon. "How'd you know that?" asked Near.
Once again, the drawbridge was lowered. Each man jumped, to give an effect that the bridge was heavy, but Near was off and ruined it. They stepped in and glanced around. "Woah, outasite!" L smiled.
