Just some comparisons of two games
Today's battle.
The Resistance franchise versus the Halo Franchise

Round 1: Setting and Story abridged.
Halo: A classic battle of aliens versus humans with alot of twists and such. The setting is far off into the future so lots o' sci fi and laser type stuff.
Resistance: A story of what may seem like aliens versus humans but as you go on into the storyline you start to realize that the enemy may not be as they seem. Als othe tale is filled with alot of human drama which Halo seems to lack in my mind. The setting is in the 1950's around the time of the Korean War.

Round 2: Gameplay differences.
While both have the standard run of the mill Shooting there are two main differences.
Halo: Duel Wielding
Resistance: Primary and Alternating fires. cool to experimetn but not as fun as wielding to weapons so Halo wins this round.

Round 3: Main dudes
Halo: Master chief, we already know some bits of him and his personality during the series.
Resistance: Their are two main characters in the Resistance Franchise. One the console side is Nathan Hale, an american soldier who was sent to destroy a Chimeran tower in Britain. You dont get much character out of him and he pretty much seems ot be kind of a steriotypical soldier and you dont get much detail on why he's fighting. On the Portable side with Resistance Retribution you have James Grayson. Let's make make a comparison here. Think of a British Bruce Willis blended with some Jason Statham and some hints of Bruce Campbell. You get alot of character out of this guy and personally he is more enjoyable than Master Chief.

Round 4: Online
A big one
HAlo: A pretty massive community with the basic modes of CTF, Deathmatch and more. Also in Halo 3 you are allowed to customize your Spartan which is pretty fun and adds alot more personality.
Resistance: Same Avatar creation in R2. However R1 did not have much online going for it. However in terms of online R2 really hauled it with some very impressive Co-op modes and 60 player battles without lag time. So in this round it's bit of a tie

Round 5: Enemies
Halo: Usually in most Halo games the usual enemies are grunts, elites, jackals, and hunters.
Resistance: A pretty larger class of enemies including the basic Hybrids, Steel Heads, Titans, Leapers, Boilers, Grims, The Leviathan, Furies, Chameleons, Slipskulls, Menials, etc. So alot more variety.

There is no winner. I'll let you decide the winner in the comments below just none of this
