Yes this rant has to do with Furries. I dont hate Furries (for I am one myself), more on the lines of Fur haters.

First on my list is Yiff. I do like Yiff now and then but I have grown somewhat tired of it because of the stereotype it's created. NOT ALL FURRIES ARE INTO YIFF!
Also there's a BIG line between Furry fandom and actual Zoophilia. Most people who hate Furries think that we want to have sex with animals. NEIN. People who actually do wanna go Oingo Boingo on animals seriously need help.
Then comes the whole Fur costume thing. I remembered fondly about an event at Gencon. I was walking around the convention area after buying some new MTG cards and I saw some Furry costumed people. Cool. I took a few pics of them and turned around to hear "******** FURRIES!" I turned around and Lo an dbehold a group of cosplayers (forget wh othey were) who laughing at the Furries. What makes Furry costumes so different than cosplaying as like Ichigo or Solid Snake or even Vader?

People often ask me why i'm into Furries. For one I like the art form. Anthromorphism is a good tool to use in story tellign as the Furry character helps outline personalities better than human characters. This makes it more accessible to new readers of say 'A webcomic'.

On that note here's a message to Fur haters on Youtube... if you hate Furries so much why are you looking up Furry videos?

So you hate furries? Allright that's cool, I hate Emo people (most ofthem anyway). I aint gonna change your opinion. But atleast i'm not going on Emo oriented videos going "GO CUT YOURSELF EMO f**!"
