Word of the day: Creepy.
Reason: I went to text a friend of mine named Alan. He and I have not talked via the phone ever, so today when I saw him, but was working so I couldn’t say hi I texted him. I sent “I see you!” I get the reply “Huh?” I reply, “You are in the library at the circ desk.” And “With your mom and Maryann Height.” Now I know that the person at the circulation desk was very much so my friend Alan, he is hard to miss what with flaming red hair and all. Here came my first clue that something was wrong “I am? That’s funny because I am at work.” I at this point am really confused so I reply “Hmm that’s odd because there is someone who looks exactly like you…unless you aren’t who I think you are…alan?” to which I get “Send me a picture so I can look for you.” Now I know it isn’t Alan because I’ve known Alan since senior year of high school. I reply “Ah ok sorry hmmm he just recently game his number odd.” From there life went on basically.
Now just as I sat down to type this up I get a call from an unrecognized number and the person is looking for someone not at this number. I spend several minutes telling him to buzz off and then go on with my day.
The whole point of the word of the day being creepy is what I sent that poor random person “I see you!” they have no idea who I am…I feel like a stalker.
