After I watched this movie twice, I can honestly say this movie does Zelda justice, their were a few things I didn't like about the film which include.
1. Saria being Link's adoptive mothers, and him calling her mom just made me cringe.
2. Link's ugly wig
3. Triforce being put on with a marker
4. non blonde Zelda, although pretty, didn't fit the part to me.
5. Ganondorf looked to pale in some scenes, he needed to be green.
6. Master Sword looked weird,
7. The sage of Fire is a Goron by the name of Derunia, not a girl that resembles Din.
8. Fire Temple boss should have been Volvagia not King Dodongo
9. When on Earth did the King have the triforce of Power.
10. Goron's are "not" human
All in all these were minor things, but that didn't stop the quality of the movie and the story which was absolutely amazing, I still pretty much enjoyed it and here are some things I did like about the movie.
1. CG-I effects: the blue skull thing and King Dodongo were awesome.
2. I love the way they made Hyrule look.
3. the music was great
4. Love the idea that the Triforce is passed to the killer when one dies.
5. Kept stories pretty much on par, a few things different but all in all about the same.
6. Keeping the Ocarina to open the door of time was a great decision.
7. Love the idea of Ganon and his casting of the Demon spell.
umm thats it icon_razz.gif, so yes as a hardcore Zelda fan this is not the perfect Zelda movie for the hardcore, but it does do it some justice, and I do say if you are a hardcore Zelda fan you need to atleast give it a go, some like it, some don't.
I happen to think it was great, and hope for a sequel.

When I caught wind of this, a light shined down from the heavens and I swear the song of time was playing somewere. In great anticipation I watched the site everyday for new updates, then, the day finally came. All my patients to be rewarded. I drew a triforce on my left hand, got my legend of zelda hat, hylian crest, and games, layed them out around my computer and watched (ignoring all other duties). Sadly, such anticipation hindered my enjoyment, but the movie was still great!
I rate this movie a 4.5 out of 5, and heres why with bad news first:
I got very confused at points. In the beggining, I couldnt tell the difference between Saria and Link's mother (only finding there was a difference after reading the credits) though it bothered me through the start of the movie. Other points heavily annoyed me, the movie was so similar to OoT, but so off at the same time so off. I comforted myself saying it was based off all the games, focusing on OoT with some TP among others, but it grew right out. It was a butchered OoT but I couldnt tear my eyes away. Yet again, the credits revealed that it was inspired by, not based on, OoT, which comforted me. Gannon was green only in parts of the movie, and pale other times. This was very annoying. And the Master Sword... who did it belong to before? King Aurthur? Were was the gem? The purple hilt with wings? His sheild. Poor excuse for a Mirror Shield? The Fire Temple Boss was King Dodongo crossed with traces of Volvagia. GORONS AREN'T EVEN CLOSE TO PEOPLE! But I understand on a budget, but couldnt they have made a little more effort? While it isn't specificly said that Gannondorf starts with the triforce (not in OoT at least) It isnt even hinted that the King has it! At least Ganandorf showed signs of having it. Why were minor badies serving as bosses? A black Bubble was a boss? One of the Moblins that kept link from entering the forest temple was a boss? Also, it felt too fast. Everything happened so quickly and it was very condensed, though I understand Time constraints I have more, but I need to give it some credit and will move on
On the bright side, amazing storyline, amazing ideas, and IT WAS A ZELDA MOVIE! Even with all the things to complain about I was on the edge of my seat! I had to rewind the movie to catch what I missed if I blinked practically! I will never regret watching this and will do whatever it takes to make sure I get this on DVD (yeah, I know they already announced it will be. ISNT IT AWESOME!?!?! It left me wanting more, which it always should, and just like after getting out of a theater, I cant get it out of my head! I feel I could die now! This movie has given me a happy enough life!
Responses to Zeldanator:
1) Well, In the credits they are listed as seperate characters and seperate actresses, so *shrug?*
2,3,4,5,6,7)agreed
8 ) it was more of a hybrid of both, with a oreheavy King Dodongo feel but, agreed
9,10) agreed

1,2,3,4) agreed
5)kind of agree to mostly agree?
6) yes but it wasnt the ocarina of time (nor was it Saria's) it was generic Brown, and had too few holes
7) I do feel Link should have reflected the with the master sword like you do in the game though
