your little heart is withered
the petals float to the ground
and as they blow away in the wind
your running after them
trying to salvage what is left
the tears freeze to your face
and your body goes stiff
no longer are you alive

a memory
to just stand there as you were last
you wont be remembered for more than you were at that moment
and i look at the granite and marble
standing there
and my last thought is of your withered heart
floating away in the wind
and i would feel sorry but i dont
for you have a huge statue in your memory
but you werent remembered for what you wanted
