BUTTERFLY KISSES (part one)

"mmmm, it's raining again..."

she flipped back a lock of unruly hair and glanced out the window at the water pounding against the glass. sighing and tugging on her jacket sleeves, she made her way to the back of the house. "Matthew?" she questioned, glancing around the door at a shirtless teenage boy laying out on his bed, watching some show on the cheap television in his room.
"hey." he didn't look away from the tv.
"can i crash?" she asked, taking a step farther into his room. he looked up at her for a second, then reverted his attention to the glowing screen. she took that for a yes, and wound her way through the piles of miscellaneous debris over to his bed. she flung herself on the bed next to him, then worked her way into the sheets. "f*ck, why is it so cold in here??" she rolled over to look at him.
"because i'm so d*mned hot" he said nonchalantly, stretching and making his muscles ripple seductively. she blushed and looked away.
"you wish."
"what are you saying?" he said indignantly, propping himself up on his elbow, chin resting on the back of his hand.
"i'm saying," she said, reaching over and pushing his arm out from under him, "that you should keep that ego of yours in check, stupid"
he sat up, with a look that shot disbelief and slight annoyance as he pointed at his stomach "i have a f*cking six-pack!"
"so? it doesn't give you the rights to treat yourself like the king of the world."
"f*ck yeah it does." he stated flatly as he picked her up and slung her over his shoulder.
"SH*T!! sh*t sh*t f*ck d*mn PUT ME DOWN!!" she yelled, thrashing and kicking out hopelessly. he laughed and flipped his brown hair,
"quiet down. jesus christ girl, you're breaking my eardrums." she responded by lashing out with a kick to his groin. he dropped her and rolled onto his side.
"ow." she whimpered, sitting up and brushing her black hair out of her eyes. "i think i could've thought that one out more..."
matthew rolled over, both hands to his crotch, and glared at her. "no sh*t."
