Today I'm small
my whole life ahead
Too young to fall
Too young to be dead

Sometimes I'm right
but mostly I'm wrong
In this world it's bright
so I hang on for too long

I am a slave
and yet - I'm free
It's love I crave
but you don't see

So now I'm old
my heart is rough
And you don't care
I was never enough

I'm broken and torn
so I care for few
