m i s s {bookworm}
name: Robin Christopher
birthday: 23 May 1987
age: 23
body description: A tall, wispy figure, Robin usually stands at least a few inches over her peers, not that one could tell, considering how often she's curled over one book or another. Though it looks like you could snap her in half, her thin frame has a strong set of bones and muscle, developed from her penchant for moving piles of books about according to her whims at the moment. She's dead pale from staying mostly indoors, but that also makes for her dark hair, which she rather likes. Though you'd be hard-pressed to get her to show you, she needs glasses to read, and though her family insists they suit her quite nicely, she's terribly embarrassed about wearing them in public.
personality: Robin has all the makings of someone who could be quite an athlete, but save for the odd match of tennis against a wall or the jogs she likes to take, the brunette prefers less active hobbies, reading consuming most of her life. While one could say this would make her anti-social, she's actually quite good with people, if only with acquaintances. Despite her genuine interests in making lasting friends, she's yet to really connect with anyone, although she falls in love quickly and deeply, all such crushes unrequited.
The easiest way to describe the young female is quirky. As much as her taste in books jump about, so does her other interests. Open to about anything and everything, she can't seem to stay tied down to anything or anyone, and it worries her. (At night, when she can't sleep, anyway) Not quite sure of who she is yet, she bears everything on her sleeves, honest almost to a fault.
background check: Her parents were some of the last in the strain of hippies, raising their child with a wide view of the world around her and the way she interacted with it. At the age of six, the family headed out to a commune with a plethora of adults and no children close to her age. While she could appreciate the lifestyle, she found it terribly boring, taking solace by jumping between households and raiding their libraries, ranging from romance novels to the complete philosophies of Freud. When her parents grew bored of the nature they'd longed to live in three years later, only one thing remained the same; Robin loved books.
Jumping headfirst back into school and sufficiently acting weird enough to get both friends and enemies, Robin flitted about through her grade and high school years with the growing revelation that puberty was slightly different on her; that is, she wasn't attracted to boys. Instead, she found herself dreaming about her own gender, which never presented much issue. With hippie parents, it was almost expected!
Despite valiant efforts to be with several sweet peers, Robin remained alone throughout the remained of high school, and remains so still. Since leaving for college, she still keeps in touch with her family, though she did move quite aways out. While she tries to major in library sciences, she's still playing the field, and with a current interest in cooking, perhaps her new class will provide an opportunity...
