i rapped my fingers on the counter, my other hand cradling my face.
"order for audrey!" i heard the woman at the counter call. i picked up the three trays of coffee and head out the door.
after successfully placing all the caffinated drinks on the seats in my gray mercedes, i started the engine and slowley pulled out of the starbucks parking lot.
i tuned the radio to 107.9 and tryed to block out the threating images, protruding in my mind like a small whining child, just something you cant ignore.
with a heavy sigh, i made my way up the hill and accelerate, there arnt any cops in hillsdale, because there isnt alot of crime. i stepped out of the car and juggled the coffee grunting when it spilled on my white blouse. "damnit," i muttered, stalking up to the front door only to be confronted with the dilemma of how the hell i was going to open the door.
"zack!" i yelled. there was a heavy thud, then a deep chuckle. zack opened the door, i tried not to look at him, tried to avert my eyes, but it was like telling someone "dont think about elephants," and then thats all they think about.
i peeked through my lashes up at zack, all six foot something of him. instead of oogling like i very much wanted to, i groaned and thrusted the coffees into his arms.
"couldnt you have put a shirt on or something?" i demanded, hiding my blush by swinging my long dark hair into my face and focused on the unnecassary task of rearanging the plates on the table. he grunted in a guy noise that clearly ment "the thought never crossed my mind." i sigh and turn around.
he was closer than i thought he would be, i smacked into his warm chest and stumbled backwards, falling smack on my butt.
