How people think that shy people are actually 'uptight' and 'snobby'.
WE'RE SHY, WE DON'T THINK HIGHLY ABOUT OURSELVES NOR DO WE THINK WE'RE BETTER THAN YOU TO TALK TO YOU.
It's simple! We are shy. It's harder for us to walk up to say, "Hi, I'm ______, nice to meet you." Than most people. I guess you have to be like me to know what I'm talking about. It's freaking amazing that people think I'm 'snobby' because I don't say 'hi' to alot of people. Look, don't accuse me of something that you don't know about. I'm different than you, it's harder for me to talk to people.
I'm not saying that you should just avoid us completely, nor do we prefer to be a shut-in with no friends. I want friends as much as the next person, I just have a harder time making them. I think that EVERY single person is worth talking to, I just don't have the kind of personality to talk to.. well, everyone.
TL;DR: I'm quiet, I'm shy. I'm not being a snob by not talking to you first or not saying 'hi' randomly. I like EVERYONE I meet. So please, don't view me in that way.
