My mind fades away as thoughts of you enter,
i can't concentrate when you swim around in there,
even though a warmth runs through my body when you do,
i do not welcome it,
as to you,
have brought me so much pain over the years,
i miss you,
oh so much,
but i can not have you back,
until the memories i have of you,
are washed away,
and replaced with new ones,
you were my friend,
someone i trusted,
and you've left me with nothing but pain,
i loved you then,
i love you now,
but you'll never,
love me the way i did you,
and that hurts,
'friends forever',
well,
where did that 'forever' go?
