Axl twirled the chain at his side," She goes with me today emperor, I will not leave her in your filthy hands."
"MY filthy hands, look who is talking filth, all you have done since you met this girl is taint her with filthy thoughts, things such as freedom and joy. things a demon of her...use....doesn't need to kno-"
Axl's chain connected with the emperor square in the chest, knocking him breathless.
"See that is what i mean, those are the thoughts of the filthy demons who want her for her gift.....I won't allow you to touch or taint her with your presence any longer.
Axl charged at the still and breathless emperor, brandishing the chain like a whip and slinging it at him, which he fully blocked and knocked away each one with his sword.
The two charged each other, exchanging slashes and blows as they passed each other up many times.
Axl charged at the emperor, holding his sword beside him and quickly slashing at him. Their blades met and sparks and energy surged through the air. They broke away and slashed and parried and blocked and slashed again many times. All seemed to be even, neither giving any room to the other to get the upper hand, until the emperor pulled his trump card, his second sword, out and caught Axl across his ribs.
Axl jumped away, grabbing his chain and wrapping it up in his cloak again.
" Was wondering how long, till you stopped pulling punches."
" Filth should not talk so high and mighty, like you could stand up against my full power."
Axl shoved his sword into the ground and watched it shatter into dust," you forget, i am not fighting at my full either"
Axl began to be surrounded by a powerful demonic aura, his eyes and hair began to glow and his muscles began to grow and become more defined.
in almost a whisper Axl said to himself," If i must kill, I will kill for her, if i need to protect her, i will put my life on the line for her, If i must die so she can live......THEN I WILL DIE FOR HER SAFETY!!!!" Axl then changed into his demon form, the cloak flying away from him, and the chains on his clothes rattling and clanking from the aura flowing out from him, his eyes glowing a bright yellow, brighter then ever before.
" Now then Emperor, i have friends that may need my help....so ill end this in one shot."
The emperor smirked, " one shot?....boy you couldn't kill my pet cat with one shot of your power, but ill oblige...and put everything i have into this too."
Axl formed the Frozen shard sword and held it behind him," Frozen....."
The emperor held his blades to the side," Death....."
A blue and black aura sprang forth from Axl's blade. Covering it with surging energy.
"ECLIPSE!!!" Axl swung his sword at the emperor, sending off a blade of energy so enormous, that the battle between scythe and Rachel's team and the guards, completely stopped, as they watched the blue and black blade beam surge across the city, the land, and ended somewhere in the middle of the ocean....the emperor along with it.
Axl stood at the gash he put in the land, a crevasse so deep one couldn't see in it, spread from him out into the ocean. He quickly ran to Gekkou and broke her free of her bonds, which she jumped from her chair and gave Axl a hug.
"Thank you Axl, for coming for me."
Axl smiled and gave her a hug back," there's something i need o tell you Gekkou, but here is not a good time....we need to go make sure Scythe and Rachel are ok, then get the heck outta here."
Both of them darted off toward the sound of battle.
