The wounds on Sanguines arms quickly healed as he lunged at Axl. He punched at him again and connected with his sword again but this time black flames erupted from his fist sending Axl flying.

He quickly regained his posture and flew back at Sanguine taking a few slashes to throw him off guard before planting the side of his blade firmly into Sanguines chest sending him flying off into the air.

"oh so you are serious now is that it," noted Axl cheekily.

Sanguine came rocketing back down with his fist and hit Axl's blade with his fist creating a large crater around them. They then began to attack each other furiously, colliding blade and fist many times.

After many minutes of exchanging blows Axl was caught in the leg with a kick throwing him off balance and was followed up with a elbow to his stomach and was rocketed off in a ball of black flame.

The ball flew for a while before fading away leaving Axl still standing. His shirt was mostly burnt away.

"Damn, if i don't start taking this seriously I might end up badly hurt."

Sanguine came running up to him and leaped at him bringing his fist down hard but met nothing but dirt as Axl had disappeared and reappeared behind him, grabbing him by his shirt and throwing him with great force. Sanguine broke through a few trees before coming to rest at the roots of another.

He looked up to be met with the a pair of eyes, one was normal with a emerald green iris, the other however had its whites replaced with black and the iris was a bright yellow.

It was Axl who continued to unleash a blade beam into the tree and Sanguine. He barely managed to put up his arms in defence before he was hit and sent skidding along the ground for several tens of feet.

"What the hell," said Sanguine as he got back on his feet," his eyes...they changed." he looked back up to see Axl holding his left eye, the one that was black.

"Damnit, is this all I can do before..."

Sanguine wasted no time taking advantage of what seemed like an opportunity. He put his hands together and created a ball of black fire," Destruction Fire,"

He threw it at the unsuspecting Axl, who at the last second raised his left hand at the ball and pointed at it. At the tip of his finger white energy swirled to it for a second before launching as a large beam that overtook the ball and kept going just barely missing Sanguine.

When the beam died down, Sanguine looked behind him to see the beam had not stopped for anything, all trees were destroyed and a large hole had even been bored through a hill behind the forest.

"No way....," Sanguine stared in disbelief," if I had been hit.....I'd be dead for sure, even with the power of a god."

He quickly looked back to Axl but found another man holding unto an unconscious Axl.

The man was tall. he had short brown hair and crystal blue eyes. he wore a long black coat with white trimming and white pants.The coats sleeves only came down to the middle of his forearms, and his arms and hands were covered in strange runes.

"I told them not to send you," the man said to Axl.

"Who the hell are you,"said Sanguine fiercely," Are you with him!!!"

the man glared at Sanguine," go to sleep already."

Sanguine wasn't sure what the man did but it felt as if an invisible hand had landed a blow into his stomach that could have torn apart his insides. The man walking slowly towards him was the last image he saw before he blacked out.
