So... I'm not happy with the picture I had for my Hetalia-ised Nevada OC, since... Well, it's just a random character. I want some art of an actual Nevada... That I like... So... Yeah. And now that I have something, I kinda want more. So... Yeah.
For reference, here's the image I was originally using... After getting a chibi of the original rather then the update, I'm removing this.
So... Yeah. A bit about her...
- Her name is Madison Jones. Originally she was named Isabella, but she hated her name (too girly) so she changed it when she became a state.
- She was originally Mexico's kid, like a lot of the western states, but they were never close... She's a lot closer to her "daddy" America.
- Her twin is Utah... They used to live together before they were states, but separated due to religious disagreements. That caused them to lose touch for awhile, but these days they're on much better terms.
- Nevada became a state towards the end of the Civil War, and she's pretty damn proud of participating in it, even if she didn't really do much.
- She's very outdoorsy and loves to do all sorts of sports and activities... Snowboarding and skiing, hiking, rafting... She even does Scuba!
- She also loves food, entertainment... Basically everything you find in Vegas. But it drives her crazy that everyone always wants to see the strip when they visit. There's more to Nevada then that! There's more to VEGAS then that!
- She also gets irritated when people assume she's a stripper or gangster or something. Actually, at the moment she's out of work, working a series of odd jobs.
- She's a total foodie and loves stuff from all over... But one of her favorites is sushi. She will go to any lengths to get fresh fish to make some.
- She has a love of anything that blows up. Every time she has an excuse, she sets off fireworks in the empty lot next to her house. Big fireworks.
- She loves alien stuff, though she's fairly critical when someone claims they've seen an alien or a UFO (she knows the vast majority of that is total bullshit).
Yeah... That's all I can think of. So... Physically? Well...
- I created this as an idea of an outfit for her. It's based on the clothes in the old image, but I added the turquoise stuff and the hat... Which I definitely want the hat. Though if you could work in some sort of Nevada related logo or something on the front of it, that'd be great.
- As for her hair... Well, I pretty much like the original image's style for her, short and messy, but I want to add in an ahoge thing representing Area 51, mostly hidden under her hat. Which is why I said I really want the hat. XD Also, I'd like it to be a red-brown color, like the rocks in this picture.
- I'd also like her to have birthmarks or something on one of her legs that look something like these petroglyphs.
- If eye color is at all visible, I'd like it to be the same or a similar color to this sagebrush.
If you can think of any other physical quirks to represent different stuff in Nevada, feel free to add it!
So... Yeah, that's about it.
